Pastor Lane Lawless presides over the Tracy, California Clover Road Baptist Church, where his granddaughter—accused child murderer Melissa Huckaby—taught Sunday school. Huckaby was arrested on April 11, 2009 for the sexual assault and murder of 8-year-old Sandra Cantu. The FBI has investigated churches where Lawless has been pastor. At one of them, the First Church of God in Clarkston, Washington, an incident of child molestation reportedly occurred during Lawless' tenure.
