  • Intended as an eco-friendly but luxurious two door SUV, the Land Rover LRX Concept debuted at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. The environmentally conscious LRX is smaller than the Land Rover LR2 and features reduced weight polycarbonate windows, sustainably made, recyclable (or recycled) interior materials, and an "urban mode" to improve fuel efficiency during city driving. In addition to the 2.0 liter hybrid diesel engine, the LRX also has an "Integrated Electric Rear Axle Drive" which can power all four wheels at low speeds using electricity alone.
