Arrest and Trials
Clarkson was found dead in Spector's home in the early morning of February 3, 2003. She had followed him home after the two met at House of Blues, where she worked as a hostess. Spector was arrested the same morning and charged in 2004. The first trial ended in a mistrial. The second trial began in 2008.During the second trial, prosecutors argued that the blood stains on Spector and Clarkson indicated that his hand was pointed at her when the gun went off and that he was within an arm's reach of her.
