  • Lali Singh is the name of a baby girl born in India on March 11, 2008, with a rare condition known as craniofacial duplication. Singh has, essentially, two faces; her facial features are duplicated twice on a single head. Singh has two identical pairs of eyes, two identical noses, and two identical mouths.

While her parents insist their daughter is like any other child, many in India believe the child is an incarnation of the Hindu goddess of valor, Durga. In traditional art, Durga is often depicted with three eyes and many arms, and the deity is associated with shakti, or female creative energy.
