Lakisha Jones

Singer Lakisha Jones was the fourth place finalist on the sixth season of the hit reality series singing competition American Idol. After the conclusion of the show, she went out on the American Idols Tour 2007 joined by the top 10 finalists of the season.

Lakisha Jones, who began singing gospel songs at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in the choir at the age of five, also performed in many high school plays. Jones furthered her musical education with a degree from the University of Michigan.
