Lake Bell is an actress from New York City best known for her role on the FOX television show Boston Public. Bell attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York before transferring to Rose Bruford College in London, England. While in London, Bell landed roles in several theatrical productions. Bell landed her first big acting job with the lead female role in NBC's War Stories.
Career
Bell landed her first big job with the lead female role in NBC's War Stories. She also made two guest appearances on ER in 2002 and had a part in NBC's short-lived series Miss Match. In 2004, Bell made her debut as Sally Heep in The Practice, and her character was carried over into the series spin-off, Boston Legal. Bell starred as the lead role in the sci-fi show Surface which was cancelled in May 2006. Bell's film work includes The Hillside Strangler, Love Your Work, Speakeasy, Pride and Glory , Still Waters and Over Her Dead Body.
