Lady Sovereign, born Louise Amanda Harman, is a pint-sized English rapper who just recently signed to Jay-Z's Def Jam Recordings. She released her debut album, Public Warning, on October 31, 2006. The catchy single "Love Me or Hate Me" was released on the same day as the album. The video for the song went on to become the first video by a British artist to reach number one in the US.
She posted a bulletin on her MySpace page letting fans know her second album, Jigsaw, would be released in April 2009. The album's first single, "I Got You Dancing," was relased as a free download in early December 2008.Billboard: Lady Sovereign Starts Label, Preps Album (December 8, 2008)
