Lady Antebellum is an American country band that was created in Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2006 by Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood, the band were finalists in the 2008 CMT Music Awards for Best group video for their hit single "Love Don't Live Here."
In October of 2007 they collaborated with singer and songwriter Alexa Wilkinson and Josh Kelley on "Miles Away," which was featured in an episode of the MTV reality show The Hills.On April 5, 2009, Lady Antebellum performed their single "Run To You" on the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards. In April they performed on the Academy of Country Music Awards show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.c
On November 21, 2010, Lady Antebellum received an American Music Award for Country Music Favorite Band, Duo or Group.c They received their award during a live ceremony that took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
