  • Labyrinth is a Jim Henson film that combines live action and Henson's famous puppets to create a fantasy world. Jennifer Connelly is a girl who must save her brother from the Goblin King, played by David Bowie.
  • Plot

    Sarah Williams (played by Jennifer Connelly) is an admirer of fantasy and rehearsing lines from her book titled "Labyrinth". After a quarrel with little brother Toby she remarks "I wish the goblins would come and take you away...right now". She is then greeted by the goblin king Jareth (played by David Bowie) who tells her that he has taken her brother away. In order to get him back she must 13 solve his great maze called the Labyrinth with 13 hours. After solving several puzzles and challenges the film climaxes at Jareth's multi-dimensional castle. Here she is able to defeat him by remembering an important line from the book, "You have no power over me".
