  • The Labrador Sea is part of the Atlantic Ocean and is situated between Labrador and Greenland. It is a source of the North Atlantic Deep Waters and one of the world's largest Turbidite Channels. The Northern part of the sea is ice covered from December through June and is the whelping and breeding grounds for the harp and hooded seals.
