The reality television show LA Ink follows Kat Von D and the lives of her fellow tattoo artists in Los Angeles. The show began after Von D was fired from Miami Ink, also airing on TLC.

The Shop
The name of the shop is High Voltage Tattoo located at 1259 N. La Brea Avenue, Hollywood, California. There is a $200.00 shop minimum and appointments must be set up in advance when the shop is filming, requiring a deposit at the time of booking. No appointments are necessary when they are not filming. -

Many celebrities have appeared on the show to get tattoos including Steve-O, the members of Emerson Drive, Scott Ian, Tom Green, Jenna Jameson and Blake Lewis. -
