La Bamba Lyrics

"La Bamba" was the definitive hit single for Ritchie Valens. Sung in Spanish, the song was a convention-defying hybrid of Latin rhythms and 1950s rock and roll. Shortly after its release, while his career was ascending, Valens was tragically killed in a plane crash along with tourmates Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper.
