• Kyte is an online platform for broadcasting video to multiple external destinations. Kyte allows video from mobile phones or computers to be transported across blogs, social networks, or other mobile devices.

    Kyte had an initial round of investing of $2.25 million and took in a B-round of funding totaling $15 million in December, 2007. Nokia, DoCoMo, and Telefonica are among the primary investors.

    In March, 2008, Kyte launched a feature that allows users to send live footage from mobile devices to Kyte channels. Users can also turn their video channels into Facebook applications.
