Early Life
Kyle Matthew Lohse was born in Chico, California, on October 4, 1978. He attended college at Butte Community College. In 1996, Lohse was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 29th round of the Major League Baseball amateur draft.Baseball-Reference.com: Kyle Lohse
Pro Career
In 1999, he was traded to the Minnesota Twins. On June 22, 2001, Lohse made his MLB debut with the Minnesota Twins. In 2006, he was traded to the Minnesota Twins. The following season he was traded again, this time to the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2007, he appeared in 13 games and finished with a 4.72 earned run average and compiled a record of three wins and no losses. In 2008, he signed with the St. Louis Cardinals. MLB.com: Kyle Lohse
