  • Kyle Davies is a Major League Baseball player with the Kansas City Royals.

Davies was originally drafted right out of high school by the Atlanta Braves on June 5, 2001. He was immediately placed with the Braves' minor league affiliates for conditioning, his first few seasons. Davies continued in the minors until on May 21, 2005 when he was called up to make his MLB debut with the Braves. He played a total of 21 games his rookie year, pitching 87 innings. Davies would join the Braves for the beginning of the 2006 season, but was quickly placed on the disabled list with a groin strain. He returned to the Braves for only 14 games that season.

Halfway thorough the 2007 season, Davies was traded to the Kansas City Royals on July 31, 2007. He was again placed with their minor league affiliates, playing in only 11 games with the Royals. His role on the Royals in 2008 is yet to be determined, as after a poor spring training showing, he was again optioned to the minors.
