Early Life
Kwame James Brown was born in Charleston, South Carolina on March 10, 1982. He attended high school at Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia. In 2001, he decided to forgo college and declare himself eligible for the NBA Draft. In his first season with the Wizards, Brown averaged 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 57 games. Brown's best year came in 2003, where he averaged 10.9 points and 7.4 rebounds a game.
