Kurt Thomas is a center/power forward for the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. While playing at Texas Christian University, Thomas led the NCAA in scoring and rebounding, a feat only two other players have managed to do. He was drafted by the Miami Heat in 1995 and has spent most of his career with the New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns. After moving from team to team, Thomas was traded from the Seattle SuperSonics to the San Antonio Spurs.
Thomas has become known as a very smart player. Despite being undersized at the center position, he is a proficient rebounder and midrange jump shooter.
