  • Krizia is an Italian brand for luxurious ready to wear fashion. The name Krizia itself is taken from Plato's dialogue on female's vanity.

    Krizia was founded Mariuccia Mandelli and Flora Dolci in the early 50s. In 1957, Mandelli established the company with her husband Aldo Pinto. It became a hit at the 80s and 90s with its stylish and youthful look. Krizia's style is a combination between classical and experimental. Mandelli, who remains the brand's lead designer until now, is never afraid to experiment with other cultural shapes and styles, such as Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and even Mongolian.

    Mariuccia Mandelli is the lead designer for this brand until now.

    Walter Albini and Aldo Ferrante designed for the brands in the sixties.

    Greg Myler designed for the brand from 1987 to 2000.

    Gianbattista Valli designed for Krizia from 1995 to 1997

    Alber Elbaz became the chief designer for Krizia, but he only lasted one collection.

    Jean-Paul Knott and Hamish Morrow were the other designers who work with the brand for short period of time.
