While on the ranch, she endured many variations in her weight loss, from losing 12 pounds in one week, to gaining 3 pounds the next. Kristin broke Biggest Loser history by becoming the first woman to lose 100 pounds while the show was airing. She is currently still a contender in the competition.

Kristen joined the show as a partner to her mother, Cathy Skell. When Cathy feared her daughter would be voted off of Biggest Loser, she asked the other contestants to eliminate her, instead of her daughter.
