  Kristin Steede began the show as the second-heaviest woman in Biggest Loser history, weighing in at 360 pounds. While on the ranch, she endured many variations in her weight loss, from losing 12 pounds in one week, to gaining 3 pounds the next. Kristin broke Biggest Loser history by becoming the first woman to lose 100 pounds while the show was airing. She is currently still a contender in the competition.

  Kristen joined the show as a partner to her mother, Cathy Skell. When Cathy feared her daughter would be voted off of Biggest Loser, she asked the other contestants to eliminate her, instead of her daughter.
