Kota the Triceratops is a three-foot tall, interactive robotic dinosaur that kids can ride.
-
Features
Similar in conception to other robotic toys—especially Pleo, another robotic dinosaur—Kota has fewer lifelike interactive (and theoretically educational) features than some of its competitors, but boasts the unprecedented kid-appeal of being rideable (although it does not walk). Created by Playskool, once known for such relatively quaint items as Weebles and Mr. Potato Head, the baby dinosaur has sensors in eleven parts of the body, triggering "realistic" dinosaur reactions and emotions. The interactive toy also features a button that plays adventure-themed songs.
