Kofi Kingston is a professional wrestler from Ghana. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment's ECW brand.
Career
Kingston competed in several independent promotions before signing a developmental deal with WWE in 2006. Kingston worked in Deep South Wrestling and OVW. When Florida Championship Wrestling opended, he was assigned there. He also worked several dark matches and house shows for WWE.
In December 2007, vignettes began to air on ECW for the debut of Kingston. He made his first appearance on ECW on January 22, 2008. Kingston has proven his athletic ability and wrestling knowledge, becoming a rising star on the ECW brand.
