Kirsten Ann Kinley pled guilty to sex assault charges in August 2007. She was charged with having sex with two students while she was teaching at Hammond Middle School in Maryland in 2004. Both boys were 14 at the time, and neither was a student of Kinley's. She had contacted the first boy over the internet, sending explicitt photos and messages to him, before beginning their relationship. They allegedly had sex twice. The second boy she abused contacted her by email, after hearing that she "had sex with students". The charges came to light in 2007, while Kinley was teaching at Ridge High School in Marriott, Maryland when one of the boys revealed the incident to his therapist. She is currently being sued for $3,000,000 in damages by one of her victims.
