Kip Wells is a right-handed pitcher for the Colorado Rockies. After starring at Elkins High School in Missouri City, TX, the Milwaukee Brewers selected Wells in the 58th round of the 1995 amateur draft. Wells declined a contract however, and went on to play baseball at Baylor University. Following his collegiate carrer, the Chicago White Sox selected him in the 1st round of the 1998 draft. After a year in the White Sox farm system, wells made his MLB debut on August 2, 1999.
