Kingdom Hearts II is a 2006 role-playing/action-adventure video game developed by Square for the PS2. The game the third installment in the Kingdom Hearts series and is a direct sequel to 2004's Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the DS.
Story

Set one year after the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the Heartless and Maleficent (the villain from The Sleeping Beauty) have returned to wreak havoc on various Disney animated worlds and must be stopped. Sora, the protagonist from the first two games, returns and sets out to defeat the Heartless and rescue his lost friend Riku. Donald, Goofy and Sora travel to various Disney worlds, defeating the Heartless and fighting against an entity referred to “Organization XIII.” It becomes revealed that Organization XIII seeks the power of Kingdom Hearts, the collected power of all the hearts from around the kingdom.
