Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is the prequel game to the popular action roleplaying video game Kingdom Hearts. It is published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable and is the sixth installment in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The game was released in North America on September 7, 2010. The game is divided into three scenarios, with the story surrounding one of the three main characters: Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. Each character has a specific campaign and different character attributes such as power, speed and magic. The recommended order of play is Terra, followed by Ventus, and Aqua. In the time line, this game is considered to be where it all begins, putting it before the first Kingdom Hearts, though the ending happens after Kingdom Hearts II.
The game uses the same graphical engine as Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. The game was put on hold during development while the team worked on Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the PlayStation 2. Birth By Sleep was made on the PlayStation Portable to integrate the abilities of the system for co-operative and competitive multi-player gameplay. During the course of the game, players travel to worlds based on Disney movies, similar to the other Kingdom Hearts games. Birth By Sleep has players teaming up with the usual characters like Mickey, Peter Pan, and Hercules, but it also includes Cinderella, Snow White, Experiment 626 (Stitch), and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). Occasionally, players will team up with those generally thought of as the bad characters, such as Maleficent and Captain Hook. Even Crisis Core's main character Zack makes an appearance in the game. As far as enemies go, the Heartless from the first game and the Nobodies from the second have yet to invade. Instead, players fight Unversed, which are embodiments of pure darkness created by one of the main bad guys.
Basics:
Players customize a "deck" that contains the abilities and techniques they use. Travel has been replaced with a Command Board. The player rolls and moves the indicated number. Events are triggered depending on the space a player lands on. Various Disney characters also exist on the board and will either assist the player or attempt to hinder them. Magic Points are now gone and replaced with a Focus system that allows players to cast spells in first person mode and use targeting spells with "ShotLock Mode". A Dimension Link system is set up that allows players to call for assistance from characters they have met.

- Protect her through the woods.
- Stay close and if you get the option, press square and then X.
- Once you get far enough, you cue a cut scene.
- Head back into the woods for a boss battle.
- Stay close and jump to attack it while in the air.
- If it jumps, start running away from it if you are on the ground. If you are in the air when it comes back down you take no damage.
- Beware of purple spots on the ground that will poison you.
- If it roots itself, get close and attack in the air.
- When it shakes it's leaves and throws little blue things at you, just get as far away as possible and you should dodge them all.
- If it falls down, it is probably close to dead and dropped health balls so run up, grab them, and get to smacking it.
- When it gets low on health, it will turn black and throw a tantrum and stomp at you, stay back and attack when you get the chance.
- It may shoot things into the air, just run around and use your roll to get away.
- When it roots itself and is low on health you should just run around as it alternates between sending a root up and smacking the ground.
- After you beat it, enjoy the cut scene.
Castle of Dreams
- After the cut scenes, follow the path left and up some stairs.
- There is a chest you can get to by jumping on the platform next to you and then across the walkway to another platform.
- When you reach the top (the floor changes to wood) exit through the mouse hole.
- After the cut scene you need to find the items the mouse listed for you.
- There is a chest, shop, and save point on the floor.
- There are more chests and a sticker on desks and table tops.
- Use the ball of yarn by the dress to help you get to higher surfaces.
- Whenever you are ready, head through the mouse hole.
- Head back to the hole you started next to and go through it.
- There is a ball of yarn by the couch and a chest under the table in the back right corner.
- The White Lace if on the couch.
- The Pink Ribbon is a little in front of the couch.
- The White Sash is on a pile of boxes near the back left corner (chest on the table in the back left corner).

- Go back in the mouse hole and go across the room and jump back to the top using a fork.
- Follow the boards back to the other side and take a right.
- Continue until you find a ball of yarn.
- Jump down through a gap on the left and feel free to grab the closest chest.
- If you drop down a second time you will be on the path you started the level on.
- Take the mouse hole next to where you drop down.
- Walk across the ruler and jump over to the bookshelf.
- There is a chest on top of the books.
- The Pink Thread is right next to the books.
- After you find all the items you cue a cut scene.
- You wind up back in Cinderella's room.
- Go through the mouse hole and follow the path to the wardrobe room.
- Don't stand too close during this fight.
- If he jumps on some furniture get ready for him to pounce down, meaning run.
- If he charges you, dodge out of the way and he will hit a wall and be stunned.
- This is really a test of patience, the best you can do it get one combo off if he is stunned or has just jumped down.
- If he meows and jumps up after being on a ledge, go in for an attack and you should get a sequence of button presses during a little rodeo, after which the cat is stunned and you can get a combo off before needing to get back. (You have to be quick to get the rodeo button thing)
- After the fight you get a cut scene.
Enchanted Domain
- You star off in the bedroom and you can go into the tower just like in the Terra campaign and grab a chest.
- Exit into the hallway and follow it to the main chamber.
- There is a chest in the back right corner and another on the near left corner.

- Chest to your left.
- Follow the long winding path up to the castle.
- When you enter the castle, go left and find a doorway with some archers in front of it.
- There is a chest to the left of the doorway you go through and up some stairs.
- After you go through the doorway, there is a chest in the far right corner.
- Head up the stairs and into the next area.
- During the henchman battle, go for the archers as they are annoying and the other guards will come to you anyway.
- Once all the guards are dealt with, you'll find a chest on the outer wall.
- Exit through the door to the right of the throne to go deeper into the castle.
- This next area is a maze that pops up as you approach it.
- Head straight until a wall pops up and make a right.
- Go through the Blue portal.
- Follow the pathway (as it is being made) to an Orange portal and go through it.
- Exit through the doorway at the end of the path.
- Go up the stairs on the far side of the room.
- Back in the maze.
- Go straight until a wall pops up and then go right until there is a portal on your left.
- Go through the portal then it is a yellowish green.
- Follow the pathway against the left wall and through a Red portal.
- Walk towards the green flame.
- Exit through the door in front of you after the cut scene.
- When the battle starts she poofs somewhere and shoots lightning at you.
- You can attack her while she is on the sides but it is best to dodge her attacks.
- If she calls lightning to strike, watch for blue dots on the floor indicating where it will hit and stay clear of those spots.
- She will poof down and you have a chance to do some button mashing. Press the buttons in a circular pattern as indicated.
- If you mess up, jump over the green waves as they will knock you out for 5 seconds.
- If she summons up minions, go ahead and take them out but watch for her lightning attacks.
- When she gets low on health she starts a move where she looks like a galaxy and drifts across the arena, stand in the middle and use block when she comes towards you.
- After she is defeated, enjoy the cut scene.
Unknown
- Head to the world that was shown (The Badlands if you played one story already).
- After the initial cut scene, prepare to fight.
- After a while of fighting, the screen goes white and cues a cut scene.
- After that scene, fight with your new companion.
- If you get the option to push square, do it.
- He does a lot of decoys so if you don't see your hits landing, roll away and way for him to come back.
- Feel free to let your ally take the blows while you attack from a distance or go off to heal.
- If you hear a "Let's team up" then find your buddy and press square then prompted.
- If he shoots a big fire ball, wait for it to break into smaller ones and then dodge them.
- If he jumps back, roll away from him as he will shoot lightning.
- Use the rock formations to your advantage then he is using fire and lightning combos.
- If your ally falls in battle, he will sit there for a few seconds and then get up with full health.
- After he is defeated, enjoy the victory cut scene.
Radiant Garden
- There is a chest on each side with houses.
- Follow after Mickey.
- There is a chest along the wall left of the central tree thing.

- There is a chest to the left on the same level.
- There is a sticker to the left up the stairs.
- Go right and up the stairs on the left.

- Chest and save point here.
- Head up the stairs until you cue a cut scene.
- Feel free to go back upstairs and open a chest on the left and grab a sticker near the doors.
- Go downstairs and back into the garden and to the square you began the level in.
- Head into the other side of town to catch up with the Unversed.
- Open the chest outside and go into Merlin's house to find another chest and the book.
- Go back outside, use the shop and save point if you like, and go after that Unversed.
- Jump into the water and make your way up using the fountains.
- At the top, jump over to the door and go through it.
- Go up the ramp on the opposite side and jump up over the pipes.
- Continue on to get a chest.
- Go up the ramp and take the waterway right to find a chest.
- Take the path outside and grab the chest halfway down.
- Continue to the end and exit on the left.
- Just like with Terra, attack the arms and legs first. (The fight is essentially the same as is the advice for it)
- When it shoots a large laser from the chest piece, run with it until it changes directions. This is easier the closer you are to it.
- If it breaks into individual pieces, stay on the outside and it is pretty easy to watch them and dodge when they come close.
- He remains in pieces so watch for each of their attacks (One piece flies around, one shoots, and the other stomps around).
- They shoot some lightning between them so attack from behind.
- When the head is left, it will do the giant laser attack again but since there is no body you can dodge easily.
- If it begins spinning, get some distance as it will throw fireballs. Using ranged magic and attacks works well here.
- After you beat it, watch the cut scene and then go back to town (the square). Feel free to check the fountain ledges for more chests and stickers as the one closest to town has a counter ability in it.
- Once in the square, fend off all the Unversed.
- After you clear the area, you are rewarded with a cut scene and the Reversal ability.
- Head down into the tunnels.
- Pass through the room with the save point.
- After the cut scene, do a quick run along the wall to find a couple chests.
- Go back to the square to cue a cut scene.
Disney Town
- Explore the perimeter to find a couple chests and a save point.
- Go talk to one of the people gathered around the stage.
- Read the directions and play a game of Ice Cream Beat.
- You have to get a "Fantastic" rating but it is the same thing every time so a couple playthroughs and you should get it without missing a hit.
Olympus Coliseum
- Fight the waves of Unversed.
- Head over to the Coliseum.
- Check the grounds for several chests and a sticker (pretty much the same spots as with Terra).
- Head inside, open the chest, use the shop and save point if you want.
- Talk to Hercules and read the directions that pop up.
- Break 30 vases before Hercules (big ones count as 5).
- Save, shop, whatever you want then go talk to him again.
- Break more in the time limit this time.
- Use the exploding barrels to your advantage before Hercules can get to them.
- Shop n' Save again then outside to fight the monsters.
- Head back down to town (you don't need to fight all the guys outside the Coliseum doors).
- Run to a corner and use Shotlock to take out a good number of them.
- If you get the option, pres square then start rotating the joystick clockwise and press X when prompted.
- Use Shotlock whenever the Focus meter replenishes.
- Jump and attack to make clearings for yourself.
- After you defeat enough of them, you obtain the Air Slide ability.
Deep Space
- Fight the Unversed (read the directions if you haven't played Terra's campaign yet).
- After a certain amount of damage (which isn't much) you cue a cut scene.
- Open the two chests and go left down the hallway.
- Fight off all the Unversed.
- After the first section, the door opens and you enter a section with 2 chests.
- Beyond that, the door closes behind you and you fight more waves.
- After you finish them all off, the door opens and you walk out.
- Go through the door on the left.
- Go into the room on the left to find a chest, shop, and save point.
- Continue down the hallway and through the door.
- Jump to the bottom and use the panel to turn off gravity. (There is a chest on the side that you have to have gravity on to open).
- Jump up (in a spiral if you want to get all the chests) until you reach a second panel.
- You can turn it on and grab the chest at the next ledge.
- Continue to the top ledge.
- There is a sticker in the middle at the very top.
- Exit through the door at the top.
- Chest on your right.
- Jump down and grab a chest in the back left and back right.
- Turn off gravity and jump up to teh ledge you were on and then across for another chest.
- Jump on the purple boxes (or into a hole where they were if the gravity is off) and down a hallway to a room with a chest and save point.
- Exit through a door on the left.
- Stay close to it and don't let it attach to the glowing tube in the center (you are basically protecting the ship from this thing).
- If it starts spinning, use your block to get away.
- When prompted, push square to get ready to throw Stitch.
- There is a panel in the back, press it to get to the upper level when it attaches up there.
- If you stay up top, it doesn't do any attack that damage you up there, but then you can't attack it.
- When it is on it's last bar, it turns invisible but turns visible when taking damage. Keep hitting it since you will lose a lock on if it goes completely invisible and the only way to find it back is luck or wait for it to attach and see the glow of it.
- Once it is defeated, enjoy the following cut scene.
Never Land
- Feel free to grab the two chests from the cut scene before following.
- The next area has a chest on the back wall and another in a cove along the wall.
- There is also a sticker between the chest locations which you can get to by going to an island and doing multiple air dashes to it.
- Go to the ledge you started on and exit on the opposite side.
- There is a chest behind the tree.
- Inside the tree is a shop, a save point, and two chests.
- Exit through the path across from the entrance to the tree.
- There are 2 chests (one big one small) and a save point.
- Exit through the path on the right (near the large chest).
- After a cut scene fight off all the Unversed.
- Once you defeat them all, watch a few cut scenes.
- Feel free to use the save point then head down the path behind it.
- Follow the right wall and enter Mermaid Lagoon.
- Read the directions on Gliding then climb up the center rock and jump onto a ledge and exit down the path (all the while cannonballs are falling so keep moving).
- There are a few chests in this area (same places as the Terra story with the same monster chest on the back wall) and cannonballs are still falling.
- Head out the opposite side of the area.
- Chest and save point on the left.
- Walk towards the water to cue a cut scene.
- Hook will stay on the little island but if you leave it he will throw presents at you (they explode so don't get too excited).
- He is vulnerable to most every spell (including stop) and he doesn't do much when you keep pummeling him.
- If he starts flailing madly, you may want to back off until he stops.
- If he is losing his balance on the edge, give him an extra hit and he will wall in the water.
- After you beat him watch the cut scenes that finishes the world.
Mysterious Tower
- You don't have to fly here, you just wind up here after Never Land.
- One chest to the right and two chests plus a sticker on the left.
- Head into the tower.
- Chest behind the stairs.
- Start climbing up the stairs.
The Badlands
- This is just a cut scene.
Land of Departure
- This is also just a cut scene that ends with you going to....
Destiny Islands
- This place.
- This, again only a cut scene, ends with you needing to fly back to the Badlands (now known as The Keyblade Graveyard).
The Keyblade Graveyard
- Two small chests, a large chest, and a sticker behind you.
- Follow the path, past a large chest, and into the next area.
- The tornadoes, again, are 3 wave battles.
- There is a sticker on the right side.
- There are 4 chests and you have to do all the tornado battles to get to the parts of the wall they are at.
- Exit down the path on the far side.
- Walk down a ways and there's a shop and a save point.
- When you are ready, head through the canyon to the final area.
- After a few cut scenes, you start your fight.
- He begins by jumping on a cloud of keyblades, just run around and dodge when he shoots some freezing magic.
- He also does the same attacks as he did when you battled with Mickey.
- Just like in Terra's final battle, if he goes underground roll across him.
- You can damage him while he is flying around so if he is almost dead just finish him off.
- After you beat him (honestly not that tough) enjoy the cut scene.
- Round two.
- He shoots an X that moves slowly and tracks you, pretty easy to dodge though.
- He does a lot ob popping up and attacking, keep moving and attack when the opportunity presents itself.
- He bolts back and forth from one side to the other, keep rolling to dodge it.
- He does a lot of the same attack as the previous battles as well.
- You can block (and then counter) most of his attacks and it is not too difficult to do that.
- If you get a finishing move, unleash on him.
- After you 'beat' him he breaks the floor and you float around.
- Lock on and use the Dark Spiral command (your command deck is changed and this should be the first one up).
- Keep pushing triangle when prompted.
- If you get locked in a keyblade battle rotate the joystick clockwise or counter-clockwise (as the screen indicates).
- Since the deck changed you no longer have curing abilities, keep using your commands and follow the on screen commands.
- You cannot tell how close you are to finishing but when he is beat you get the option to attack using 'Last Word' so do that.
- After he is defeated, enjoy the ending cut scenes.
- After the credits, save your game and do NOT delete/overwrite it. Begin the next character by creating a new file. Feel free to skip the credits "cut scene" as there was not much during it and nothing after. Also, if this is the first character you completed, you gain access to the Trinity Archives on the main menu.

- When you are ready, head through the stone archway.
- Go down the stairs and across the bridge.
- There's a chest in front of you.
- Jump onto the ledge using the fountain on your right.
- Continue moving upwards using the fountains until you reach the top.
- There is a door on the wall opposite where you came in, jump over to it and walk through.
- Fight past the circle and up the ramp.
- Hop over the pipes and onto a ledge. (Chest straight ahead)
- Go up the ramp on the left and enter a waterway. (Chest to the right)
- Head through the doorway to the left.
- Follow the waterway and into a door on the left (Chest on the left about halfway down)
- Attack the arms and legs first.
- When it shoots a large laser from the chest piece, run with it until it changes directions. This is easier the closer you are to it.
- If it breaks into individual pieces, stay on the outside and it is pretty easy to watch them and dodge when they come close.
- He remains in pieces to watch for each of their attacks (One piece flies around, one shoots, and the other stomps around).
- When two are left, they shoot some lightning between them so attack from behind.
- When the head is left, it will do the giant laser attack again but since there is no body you can dodge easily.
- If it begins spinning, get some distance as it will throw fireballs. Using ranged magic and attacks works well here.
- After you beat it, go down the path in front of you.
- Back up the stairs, past Merlin's place, and into the tunnel that is right of where you come out.
- Go through the pathway with the save point.
- Fight your way down the path and into a structure that looks like a small castle.
- He starts off jumping away so just run around and dodge his shots.
- Attack him when he comes down, but be careful as he pops up all over the place.
- When he reloads you can get a few hits in.
- It takes a while but keep dodging and attacking when you get the chance and he will eventually be defeated.
Disney Town
- Feel free to explore the town as there are a few chests scattered.
- When ready, talk to the chipmunks.
- Read the rules on how to race.
- Press Right trigger to change the camera angle (if you want).
- Take the jump on the right of the track every lap to pass up the others and stay in front.
- If anyone passes you, use the circle attack.
- Watch the tornadoes as they slow you down a lot.
- If you get caught behind the giant purple car watch for the bombs he drops.
- After 5 laps (hopefully) you win.
Olympus Coliseum
- Fight off all the Unversed.
- I suggest taking out the bird-things first as they can get really annoying.
- After it is over, the only thing you can do in this area is break vases and get munny/health.
- Head towards the coliseum area.
- After your little chat, check around the walls for the chests
- There is a sticker behind the columns to the right of the doors (jump and attack to get it).
- When ready, go through the doors.
- Big chest, shop, save point, and the guy you need to talk to.
- You have a time limit for each round so take out the enemies in each round quickly.
- Hit fast and hit hard.
- Use Shotlock in round 5 because you don't have time to hit them all individually.
- Save finishing moves that you get at the end of rounds.
- The last round (with all the jellyfish things) jump to one side and use Shotlock to keep taking out as many as you can by pressing X at the right moment.
- If you mess up, they don't have much health so one hit should do the job on each one.
- After the games, talk to Hades.
- This last guy is not too hard. Just corner him and keep hitting him.
- If he gets a hit off, use square to recover and keep fighting.
- Now he gets tough.
- If you can Shotlock for a long combo, do it now, otherwise, dodge. Dodge a lot. If he gets you in the air you better hope you have a ton of health.
- If he is at about half health, keep hitting him and don't back off until he's beat.
Deep Space
- Same controls as the race on Disney Town, just with a lot of jellyfish for you to hit.
- Just keep hitting X and if you find yourself out of the mob, fly back in.
- Fight off all the Unversed.
- After you free the doctor, you can go up the elevators on the left side and into a few rooms with chests.
- If you have trouble jumping to any, use the square button after you jump for extra distance.
- When you are ready, go through the large doors.
- Use the save point if you want, when ready head through the doorway on the right.
- Open the big chest and examine the transporter.
- Fight off the Unversed and open the chest.
- Head through the room behind the opened door.
- Fight the cars driving around if you want just be careful that you know which way you came from.
- Head down a road and to a purple square.
- There are a couple chests in the room with the boxes.
- Jump up the purple boxes on the right wall and head down a tunnel to find a room with a save point and a chest.
- Examine the controls on the wall opposite the hangar to turn off the gravity.
- Jump up using the boxes to a ledge with a doorway next to it.
- There is a chest on the opposite ledge.
- Head through the doorway.
- While you could just jump down in this room, if you follow the path along the wall you can grab the chests.
- There is another control panel at the bottom that turns off the gravity.
- Jump up one level from the bottom to find a door to the next room.
- The room off the right of the hallway has a shop, save point, and chest.
- When ready, head through the door you didn't come from.
- There is a chest to the right but the path you need to take is left.
- There is a chest and a sticker at the far end.
- Take the doorway on the right of the hallway.
- Fight the little electric dude but be careful when getting close.
- If it takes control of the gun arm things, they flail about and take turns shooting, attack them with caution to not get hit.
- It does a dashing attack, use your square abilities to get away.
- When it gets to the last health bar, it starts using an attack where it throws lightning balls, but they are easy to dodge.
- When it is low on health, don't let up as that will allow it to control the guns again.
- Eventually, you defeat the little bugger and get a cut scene.
Never Land
- Fight off all the Unversed that appear.
- Chest to the left, path to the right.
- This next area has a couple chests, a shop, and a save point.
- When ready, Go down the path at the top of the mini map (The other path has some waves of enemies and a drum you can jump on to hit a totem pole).
- Go through the path on the opposite side (chest to the left of that path).
- There are a few chests in the water, one is kind of hidden in a cove on left from where you came in.
- If you follow the ledge you started on, straight through the next area, you will reach a place with a few small chests, a chest monster and a sticker you cannot reach yet.
- If you climb up the rocks in the middle of the map, you can Jump across and take the path.
- There are a lot of small chests here and the rocks that look different can be knocked down. (The big chest is a chest monster).
- On the upper level, you can climb a rock and jump to another that has a small chest, from there you can jump onto a tree and go through a cave that leads back to the previous area if you want to. (The only thins there are a small chest, chest monster, and Unversed.
- Whenever you are ready, continue along the ledge into a cove.
- There's a save point and small chest on your left when you enter.
- If you can, do jump dashes to go from rock to rock (or swim to the last one).
- Open the chest and examine the boat to head off.
- There is a chest at the end of the path.
- Head into the island.
- He flies around a lot, if you have the mine magic cast it and you can hit him after he hits your trap.
- If you don't have mine magic, wait till he swoops in and get a few shots on him.
- If he falls, get all the hits you can on him before he starts flying around again.
- After the battle, exit the cave.
- Go back in the cave.
- There are a lot of these guys so don't let them surround you.
- Jump off to the side and Shotlock as many as you can.
- After Sholocking, do your dash attack (press square while dashing) to keep taking them out while dodging.
- When your Focus meter is full again, do another Shotlock.
The Badlands
- This is where you walked with Xehanort last time, but you don't do anything except get a cut scene.
The Land of Departure
- Start off going straight for him and don't let up until after you use the finishing move.
- If he starts doing lunge attack at you, use square to recover and dodge until he stops.
- Keep attacking and don't give him a chance to retaliate.
- Use mines if you can to set traps (extremely useful for his lunges).
- If he shoots 3 balls at you, either dodge or use block to send them back.
- If he shoots keyblades, stand close but not enough to be hit while they spin around him.
- If you know how to block and counter, great do it. If not, now would be a good time to learn.
- If the field gets dark, he will do one of the following.
- He is getting ready to shot pillars of flame that are going to track you, just use square to dodge them.
- He will shoot beams that rotate around him, walk with them as they turn.
- After you beat him (took me SEVERAL tries and an XP run), enjoy the cut scene.
The Keyblade Graveyard
- This was the Badlands last time you went there.
- Once you land, backtrack to find a couple chests.
- After you open them , continue down the way you were supposed to until you reach a larger chest.
- After you open that one, keep going until you enter the next area.
- Stay away from the tornadoes as they are just battles, though they will chase you.
- If a tornado does get you, fight 3 waves of Unversed and then fall back down.
- There is a chest on the right of the center rock formation and one on the left as well as a stick on the left.
- There is a chest on each side near the exit.
- Exit out the far side.
- Head down a ways and you'll find a shop and a save point. This is the last area before the final fight.
- Walk down a long trench to enter the last battle.
- Go after Vanitas first as he has less health.
- Keep landing hit after hit until you cue a cut scene.
- As the cut scene suggests, the battle is now one on one.
- He does a move where he poofs away and shoots magic at you, but you can jump over them easily, or block it's up to you.
- He does another move where he shoots a cloud of keyblades that follow you around, just dash around the arena to stay clear of them.
- If the ground starts to shake, quickly dash as he pulls up a pillar of rock.
- Keep hammering him with attacks (Chaos/Sonic Blade works wonders) and when you aren't attacking keep your distance (though you should really be attacking at all times).
- After he is defeated, enjoy the following cut scene.
- If you thought that was it, then sorry but you have another fight.
- Stay back more this fight and when you attack don't let up.
- If he shoots energy balls, use block to send them back.
- If he goes underground in the dark finishing move, dash above him and he'll pop up behind you.
- When he gets to about 2.5 health bars left, he begins using an attack where he pulls up large rocks and then throws them at you, Get against the wall and block the best you can.
- When he is low on health, he may pull a big rock out of no where that has a large radius of damage, get to the outsides.
- If you see a giant keyblade above his head, get far away from him.
- He may start popping up near you, just keep dodging around to avoid his swings.
- After you beat him, you finish Terra's story. To begin the next character, start a new game but do NOT delete/overwrite Terra's game. Feel free to skip the credits "cut scene" as there was not much during it and nothing after. Also, if this is the first character you completed, you gain access to the Trinity Archives on the main menu.

- If you played Ven's story you know what's coming.
- After a cut scene, get ready for an Unversed fight.
- Jaq needs you to protect him so I suggest playing defensively rather than going to attack them.
- Once you guide Jaq to the mouse hole, talk to him.
- After a few cut scenes, use the save/shop then go into the forest.
- When it jumps around, stay put and keep pressing square until you get the 'Turnover' option, then unleash on it.
- It releases little minions but you can pretty much ignore them.
- Occasionally it jumps in the air and shoots fireballs, run and dodge unless you can get directly under it, then jump and attack and remain underneath it.
- When it tries to suck you in, get beside it and its wheels will prevent you from getting eaten.
- If it eats you, rapidly press X to get out.
- If you need health, kill some minions.

- Exit through the door next to a gate and across from a wheel that opens that gate when hit.
- Follow the upper path and open the small chest on the left wall (The large chest is a monster).
- Drop down and take the path back towards where you entered for another small chest.
- Take the path the other way and if you follow the right wall you will find a small chest next to a chest monster.
- Exit through the large doorway.
- Fight the mirror again.
- The attacks and strategy are the same as with Terra's battle with it.
- After he is defeated, enjoy the ending cut scenes.
Enchanted Domain
- There is a chest behind you on your left (your right after turning around).
- Head up the path towards the castle.
- There is a chest up the broken stairs on the left side.
- Go through the doorway on the left path.
- Chest on the other side of the stairs.
- Go up the steps and into the castle.
- After some cut scenes, you are in a room with a save point, shop, and large chest.
- Exit out the door next to the axe in a rock.
- Head up the stairs and into a large room with some enemies waiting.
- Continue moving up stairs until you reach the next area.
- Fight the waves of guards.
- Don't worry about your companion, if his health goes all the way down he gets knocked out and returns to battle after a few seconds with full health.
- After you beat them all, exit out the far side of the room.
- Cross the room and exit through the door on the other side.
- Outside, team up again and fight the guys on the ground.
- The upper level enemies shoot arrows and throw rocks at you, but if you are running around hitting the ground force they should miss most of the time.

- After a cut scene, prepare for the boss fight.
- She does an attack where she slams the ground, if you are in the air doing a combo on her you will be fine.
- If she shoots fire, run behind her.
- Alternatively, hide behind the prince (using his shield) and use his team attack.
- When she takes to the skies, stay close to the prince and use the combo when prompted.
- While on her back, get some attacks off.
- After you beat her, watch the ending cut scenes.

- Go back down the stairs where there is now a sticker.
- Go back to the gardens and go through the door in the cut scene you see after entering.
- The door is on the far right wall of the middle section.
- Same boss as the other two stories.
- After you beat it, enjoy the cut scene.
- Exit down the path in front of you.
- Walk along the waterway, opening the chest on the right as you go.
- Continue past the ramp to find two more chests.
- Down the ramp, to the left is a chest.
- Go right and fight across the circular platform to the next area.
- There are 2 chests on the back left platform.
- Exit out the back right corner.
- Go inside Merlin's house and check out the book and open the chest.
- Back outside you will find a save point, sticker, and shop.
- Go back to the center of town by taking the path near the shop.
- After a cut scene, fight Vanitas.
- He has the same attacks as in Ven's story but this time you don't have Mickey to help.
- Use lots of dodges but keep attacking and eventually he will be defeated.
- After he is defeated, enjoy the ending cut scenes for the world.

- After they are all defeated, watch a cut scene.
- Check the area for chests in the usual spots and a sticker.
- Head inside where you find a large chest, a shop, and a save point.
- When ready, talk to Phil to begin the games.
- Just like in Terra's story, you fight Unversed in rounds that are all under a time limit.
- If you are having trouble, go to the Mirage Arena and do some leveling up.
- The last round, just like the other stories here, is a mob of jellyfish.
- Use ShotLock to take out most of them then use area attacks and lock ons to take the rest out.
- After a cut scene, head back inside and talk to Phil.
- This is the same as Terra's fight with this guy, just keep attacking and don't give him a chance to.
- After a cut scene, talk to Phil again to start the last battle of this world.
- You may remember this guy from a previous Kingdom Hearts, if so that will come in handy.
- Hades doesn't do much so go after him and just keep at him so he has no chance to retaliate.
- If Hades turns red, get away as continual attacking doesn't stop him from continuing that attack.
- Once Hades is out of the picture, stay close to the Colossus and attack his legs.
- When his picks his legs up, use block to protect yourself and even get a nice counter attack in.
- Keep attacking his legs until he is also defeated and the match ends.
- After the match, enjoy the ending cut scenes for Olympus Coliseum.
Deep Space
- Fight the waves of Unversed.
- After you beat them all, enjoy some cut scenes.

- Fight off all the unversed from your speeder thing.
- You have a ranged attack using X.
- You can also fly around and attack using Triangle.
- You can also use the posts on the edges to swing around and launch yourself like a top.
- After you beat them all, you get the Air Slide ability.
- You fight the guys in the room then just go for the transporter in the middle.
- After activating the transporter, watch a quick cut scene.
- Large chest behind you.
- Go straight and you'll find a save point.
- Exit through the doorway near the save point.
- After a cut scene fight the waves of Unversed.
- Once you beat the last one, enjoy a couple cut scenes.
- You end up back with the Grand Councilwoman in the room with the shop and save point.
- When you are ready, go back to the hallway but take a left this time.
- Jump down to the bottom and open the chest against the wall.
- Activate the panel to turn off the gravity.
- As you go up, you may notice a chest floating, you have to turn the gravity back on to get it.
- When you reach the top, head through the door.
- After a cut scene, begin the boss fight.
- In case you haven't noticed, he has a gun so staying back doesn't help much.
- Use close range attacks whenever you can.
- If your partner give you an option to press square, do it then go in and let loose.
- A good rule of thumb is, if he has his gun drawn, fight close, if not, stay our of arms length.
- After you beat him, enjoy the ending cut scene.
Never Land
- After the cut scene, head up the path.
- Big chest on the left and small chest on the other side.
- There is also a save point by the larger chest.
- Exit down the path near the save point.
- Chest on the opposite side of the tree.
- You can go into the tree and find a room with a shop, save point, and two chests.
- Exit down the path by the small chest.
- There are chest in the same places as the last two times you played this area.
- There is a sticker in the back left from where you started.
- Exit down the path that was along the ledge you started on.
- Chest on your right.
- Follow the ledge into the next section.
- There are three chests in this area, one of which is a monster (it is the only big chest).
- Use the yellow balls to jump to the top.
- Exit to the next area.
- Jump up the ledges until you get to a long flat one.
- Jump up a ledge on the right and back track until you find another pixie dust ball and jump up with it.
- Open the chest on the right.
- Continue along the path and through two more pixie dust balls.
- Chest on this ledge.
- Hang off the side of this ledge and drop down to grab the sticker.
- Chest along the right wall after dropping down.
- Continue along the path until you reach a ball that seems to go nowhere.
- You have to hit three pixie dust balls in a row to get to the top ledge, so keep trying until you get it.
- Once you reach the top, follow the path.
- Chest behind you.
- Follow the path into the gully.
- After some cut scenes, you obtain Double Flight.
- Use the save point if you like then go back to the Indian camp for the boss fight.
- All of his new moves are ones he had during his last fight in the Ven campaign.
- He does his going underground move that you can roll over.
- Use dodge and block like you have never used before because this guy bounces around everywhere.
- After you beat him, enjoy the ending cut scenes.
The Mysterious Tower
- Three chests in the same places as last time.
- Go inside and open the chest under the stairs.
- Head up the stairs.
Keyblade Graveyard
- As always, you can turn around and find chests in the usual locations.
- Continue down the path and open the big chest on the right wall.
- There is a sticker next to the chest.
- Continue up the path and into the next section.
- Again with the tornadoes.
- The chests are in the same spots as before.
- Exit through the opposite end.
- This is the area before the final battle, again.
- It has a save point, a shop, and a sticker above the exit.
- Head down the long trench to the final battle.
- After the cut scenes, begin your fight.
- If you played Terra already then you know this guy.
- This time he stays on the battlefield, but I suggest doing a lot of blocking as his normal projectiles get reflected back.
- He has dark shots that he fires , one of which is very obvious that he is getting ready to shoot it.
- The other, he jumps in the air (staying right-side-up) and continually aims at you so just run around.
- Until you get the timing of his attacks down, I highly suggest only blocking and holding back on your counter attacks since they don't stop his attacks.
- It is extremely helpful to have Renewal Barrier which you make using Barrier (you need 2 in order to use 1) and Esuna (or Curaga but that one is harder to get).
- After he is defeated (which you barely need to hit him since his attacks do damage when reflected) enjoy a cut scene.
- He still has all of his old moves but his new ones are a doozy.
- If hi is laying in the middle of the field, do as much damage as you can, but be sure you have lots of health because he is going to damage the whole field.
- He does a lot of quick dashes one after another so your cartwheeling needs to be really accurate to get away.
- Do the team attack any chance you get as it makes you invincible for short periods.
- Be very patient and take his health down little by little until you beat him.
- After you beat him, enjoy the ending cut scenes.

To check what you have, go to the Trinity Archives in the main menu of the game.
Final Episode
You get a message saying you unlocked this after finding all the Xehanort Reports mentioned above. You are required to crate a new save data (suggested to be a new block). To play it, go to the title screen, click Continue, and chose your Final Episode save data. The first cut scene begins where Aqua's final cut scene ended. You play as Aqua, so all the items and abilities she had at the time you save the Final Episode file are transferred.
Radiant Garden
- You don't get a chance to open the menu prior to the boss battle to you may want to do what you need before going here.
- You can pretty much block every attack and use a counter attack.
- If you get the time, shoot some ranged attacks (fire works great) at him.
- You need to be extremely patient and you can honestly keep pushing square until you get the option to counter and take it then continue pushing square.
- He does an attack where he goes underground and that is the only one you can't block. Instead, roll over him.
- If he hits you with the hand before going under and you manage to use the square button to use Payback Surge, then he will pop right back up and do no damage.
- I suggest not countering when he is doing a combo as he will likely hit you and his combos are long and painful.
- Seriously though, just keep using block and counter and you will beat him even if you are a low level.
- When he is almost dead he begins summoning a huge keyblade and shoots a ton of fireballs that you cannot block so just run away from him as best you can (or use the ice ShotLock).
- After he is defeated, he summons a buddy to fight with him.
- His minion does an attack that shoots lightning along the ground that you should cartwheel away from but the rest you can block.
- Do be careful of one where he pops out from underground several times as there are no projectiles to help you time your blocks (he pops out 8 times so feel free to counter after 8).
- You are going back to actually attacking him during the periods between his attacks.
- When there are delays in his attacks (like when the minion is charging up or returning) throw some ranged attacks at him.
- The blizzard ShotLock (Absolute Zero) is great for dealing a lot of damage as well as making you invincible for a short period.
- If his minion grabs you, you get taken to a strange yellow area, lock on and shot a ranged attack while dodging his.
- After he is beat, enjoy the ending cut scenes and then credits.
- The first stage of credits is pretty plain, the second has some different things.
- There's some stuff after the credits too.
Keyblade Graveyard (Badlands)
- This becomes available after you beat Radiant Garden in the Final Episode.
- You can play this with any character.
- After landing, you will notice a dark energy ball near a spike, go examine it.
- This guy is really hard and has about 13 different attacks most of which cannot be blocked and the ones that can are easier to dodge, so if he does something that doesn't consist of just standing there, dodge around.
- He is extremely resistant to everything so if you feel like you are hardly doing damage, that is probably because it's true.
- Aqua, your key strategy is double jump and seeker mines.
- Terra, use your finish commands and mines to trap him.
- Ventus, use mines and tornado (which is hard to get a hit with but is very damaging)
- Easy way, hide behind a boulder (the bigger the better) and use Raid commands (Wind Raid, Strike Raid, anything where you throw the keyblade just fill your deck with them), just make sure you keep the boulder between you and him.
- After you beat him, you get the Void Gear, which is the keyblade he was using.
Land of Departure
- After landing you go immediately to a cut scene and then the battle.
- This guy is really hard and has a ton of attacks (about 16) of which you can block 4, so do lots of dodge rolling/cartwheeling.
- You should probably never try for a full combo, just take it one hit at a time.
- Mines do not do damage but they do fill up the Command Gauge.
- Fire/Thunder Surge seem to be really good resources for this battle. (Thunder in particular since it has wider range).
- He has his own Restore Barrier so try not to give him lots of attacks to block (like ShotLocks) as he can get back health.
- He summons clones of himself (not like the Mirror did) and they will all attack you, use your Surges here.
- His basic combos and dashes are the ones you can block.
- He may draw a tornado around him, just keep rolling and it will miss you.
- If he jumps in the air dodge like there is no tomorrow.
- When he shoots a big X you can easily dodge it.
- He can rewind time to heal himself.
- The Meteor attack has returned.
- When he is at around 50% HP, he starts to turn invisible.
- During this time, he begins using multiple attacks at the same time so dodging is crucial.
- After you beat him, you get the No Name, which is a keyblade.
Secret Ending Cut Scene
- Beginner Mode: Cannot Unlock
- Standard Mode: 100% completion (including chests, items, stickers, enemies, minigame, repotrts, arena, ...etc)
- Proud & Critical Mode: All Reports
- Once you get the message that you unlocked "Blank Points", check the Trinity Archives (Theater section) and the bottom video should be the cut scene.
- You only need to be the first boss (Radiant Garden one) to unlock it.
- If the category in the Trinity Archives (i.e. Timeline, Secret Reports) has a filled in Mickey head then it is completed. If not, then you can go in and see what you are missing.
Extras
Disney Town
- There is a lot to do here so feel free to explore and talk to everyone.
- The ducks have a shop now and the one in the blue shirt lets you play Ice Cream Beat and you can go underground through the manhole next to the shop.
- Underground there is only one path and there are 2 small chests and a chest monster.
- At the end of the path is a meter, use the thunder finishing move to charge it up.
- Go by the gears and jump on the Mickey head to go up.
- There are a couple chests on the ledge.
- Jump on the gears and then onto a hand.
- Ride the hand to another gear.
- This gear has a Mickey head that tries to push you off at one end so watch out.
- You can go either way, the one with more hands leads to a couple chests on a ledge, the other leads to the other way out and a chest.
- While up top, notice the sticker near the meter.
- If you take 'the other way' as I called it, follow the hall to a large room.
- Go up the stairs on the right wall and onto a red thing.
- Hold circle and play pinball with yourself.
- The left side of the pinball board has a chest you can get.
- The center has a path to the raceway.
- Ice Cream Beat: Take turns between listening to the beat and pressing X to the beat while aiming at the appropriate duck.
- Fruitball (cow by popcorn cart): Basically like air hockey where you cannot cross the center line and you "shoot" fruit (by attacking it) at the opponent's goal.
- Rumble Racing (Chip and Dale): Races just like during Terra's story.
- You can make your recipes at the duck's shop given you have the proper ingredients.
- The first time you hit the mailbox in the square, you get the confetti ability.
Coliseum
- Talk with Hercules to face off against him in a vase-breaking contest.
Mirage Arena
- Read through the advice on how the place works (first visit only)
- Save point and a transporter, use the transporter.
