King of the Elves is a computer animated Disney film directed by Aaron Blaisee and Robert Walker, which is based on a short story of the same name by Phillip K. Dick. The movie will utilize Disney Digital 3-D technology, and is slated for a theatrical release on Christmas 2012.
The plot of King of Elves revolves around an average Joe living down in the Mississippi Delta, who discovers a clan of elves and helps them to fight off a depraved troll. The man decides to join the elves, and they crown him as their new king.
