Kimberly Caldwell is an Texas-born singer who appeared on the second season of American Idol.
She was eliminated from Idol after reaching the top seven.
When Caldwell was five years old, she sang publicly for the first time at a beauty pageant.
She also appeared on Star Search and became a five time junior vocalist winner.
In 1995 she sang at George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush's 50th wedding anniversary.
In 2008 she started to record her debut album, working with Randy Jackson and Diane Warren. Caldwell promises the album will be worth the wait.

Personal Life
In May of 2008, Caldwell and American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook started dating. It was reported in January of 2009 that the couple had parted ways. A representative for Caldwell released a statement saying, "Kimberly and David ended their relationship just before the holidays.
