Kim Shamsky is the ex-wife of the New York Mets' Art Shamsky. During their divorce, in 2006, Art alleged that Kim threw "temper tantrums" and said she was the "man in the marriage."
Kim alleges that Art gave her an STD and is suing him for $11 million. On February 4, 2009, Kim confronted Art on a street in New York City, about the issue. She shouted at him and demanded an explanation. Art had no comment and the incident was recorded on video tape. On February 5, 2009, the New York Post reported that Kim bought the web domain www.ArtShamskySucks.com and intends to start a safe-sex campaign that would offer merchandise like t-shirts and condoms.New York Post: Amazin' Ambush!
