    1. Follow Garza out of the building onto a roof. You'll be looking down on some Helghast forces. Head forward along the roof to find other ISA soldiers.
    2. Symbol! The first of five Helghast symbols is directly across from you on the building there. Look for a big Helghast banner, then a brownish symbol beneath that, and finally the target symbol beneath that.
    3. Drop down near where the other soldiers are amassing and join them in fighting the Helghast troops across the street. There are a lot of them.
    4. You can't do much from cover against this many enemies. Drop down and grab whatever gun best suits you from the armory rack, then run to the disabled tank int he middle of the road.
    5. From here, run to the far right of the Helghast emplacement. You'll find a small alcove there with a wall you can take cover behind. Shoot at any of enemies behind cover on the road itself, who should be exposed to you from the side.
    6. Now you can take the building room by room, starting with the room around the corner from you. Press against the corner and open up on any remaining troops inside.
    7. As you enter the building, your ISA buddies will assist you in sweeping through. Check the lower floor first. You can vault cover in a few places, and the doors in each room will slide open as you approach, Star Trek-style.
    8. Clear the lower floor and look for the staircase. It'll likely be guarded by two Helghast troops. A well-placed frag will take out both.
    9. Expect heavy fighting all the way up the stairs. Sweep the rooms here, then push forward to the outer edge of the building. Be careful of the windows out there, as enemies will see you and shoot through them when they're clear.
    10. Keep moving left. Try to be aware of where you're being shot from, and recognize that some of the Helghast are above you on a third floor. There's a hole in the ceiling where a soldier likes to sit and shoot down on you. Plus he'll throw grenades. Find him and take him out.
    11. Symbol! You'll be in a hallway that has railings surrounding a hole to the right, with four doors behind that. Check the second door from the right -- you can shoot through the narrow opening to find the Helghast symbol.
    12. Through the hallway you'll find a big hole in the floor. Don't drop until you're absolutely ready.
    13. Intel! When you drop down the hole, there's a doorway and a desk to the right of it. Check behind that desk for the first of two Intel cases.
    14. Out the door ahead is an alley between buildings. You'll see a trooper in front of you and another above you. Kill both.
    15. Head up the middle and you'll find a staircase leading up. Pause here for a second and reload and gather ammo.
    16. Symbol! Standing beside the stairs, turn to face back the way you came and look up. The Helghast symbol is on the angled wall at the top, obscured by metal beams crossing between the two buildings.
    17. At the top of the stairs is an electrified doorway. Look to the left of the door to find a power cell you can destroy. It glows whitish-blue.
    18. With the door shorted out, you can push through. You'll have to open a door to the next area beyond with the Circle button. After that, descend the stairs to more Helghast troops fighting ISA.
    19. The Helghast are firing down on Rico's position from all over this area, but they don't see you enter. Walk up and unload on the two standing on the walkway right in front of you.
    20. Go left of the walkway for ammo and grenades, then kill any stragglers across from you and get over there. There are troops below and above you, and they're easy to lose track of, so you should just get a move on to their positions.
    21. Hurry around the corner indoors and find the Helghast trooper behind the chain link fence to the right. Then push on around the corner toward the ladder.
    22. Symbol! Continue to the right on the walkway, then take the crosswalk to the left. Turn left again and you'll see another Helghast symbol on the wall there.
    23. Take the ladder down and clear out any remaining troops. Head down the alley to reunite with Rico.
    24. Symbol! As you approach Rico's sandbag cover position, move around it to the right. You'll see a ladder. Beside that, to the right, is the symbol.
    25. Jump behind Rico's cover and prepare to repel a counterattack. The Helghast attack from the left side and the front.
    26. You shouldn't have too much trouble repelling the first attack. Rico will stand up and go to the nearby door. When that happens, leave the cover position and move forward on the right side of the flaming hole. You'll find a room with weapons and ammo. Grab the M224-A1 LMG (which stands for Light Machine Gun, which you'll enjoy).
    27. A second wave of Helghast is on its way. The best place to be when it shows up is on the second floor, so walk back toward Rico's cover position and look left. You'll find stairs there. Climb to the top and find good cover that looks at the building across the way from you.
    28. Helghast will mostly fill that building in the second attack. Use the LMG to rain destruction down on them and you should have little problem. You're also hard to kill with grenades from this position.
    29. After you've eliminated the second wave, you'll hear your squadmates talking again. Drop down through the nearby hole and head back to Rico's original sandbag cover spot. The enemy will be coming at you from where you were just positioned, so you don't want to be there anymore.
    30. Take cover toward the back, or just stand where you're hard to hit and work on taking out anything that can get a bead on you. This should be anyone in front of you in this area. Your squadmates will do a decent job with anything that comes from the left side. Being in the back of the position instead of at the front, you should be able to see just about any Helghast that's getting too close for comfort.
    31. Knock down the soldiers upstairs and the ones that come down and take cover behind the wall in front of you. Before long, there will be another lull. You can try to sprint out of cover to get more ammo for your LMG if you need it.
    32. The final wave comes by way of armored personnel carrier, a tank that pulls up on the street beside you. Get your head down, probably along the right side of the sandbag cover, and just keep mowing guys down. They'll mostly come from in front and to the left, so just hit what you can without getting killed.
    33. Hold off the last wave and as it comes to an end, Natko and Rico will hop up and make for the door. Follow them through and down the hall.
    34. Intel! You'll hear Natko and Garza talking. They're standing in a kitchen, near a refrigerator and a bright light. Walk around the other side to get behind them and you'll find the map's second Intel case.
    35. Continue to follow Rico out of the buildling and you'll enter Visari Square. Grab cover, then move up along the left side to the stairs.
    36. You'll be flanking several Helghast soldiers here, but you shouldn't have too much trouble. When they're dead, reload and get on the nearby mounted machine gun to repel a counterattack.
    37. There are two mounted guns on either side of the position. They start facing more to their respective sides, but their mobility to cover far to the right or left is limited. Instead, focus more shooting to the middle, between the guns. Most of the enemies will spawn straight back from the center of your position and they'll run right up the gut. If you can kill them as they're approaching the barricade, you'll do tremendous damage.
    38. Trophy Alert! Kill 30 Helghast with a mounted machine gun to earn the Defender trophy.
    39. Fight off the first counterattack wave and you'll hear your CO yell that you can grab ammo. You can do so if you need to, but return to the mounted gun and use it to take on a few soldiers.
    40. A drop ship will show up next. Aim at the ship with your gun and take out the Helghast either as they prepare to repel down from the ship or as they hit the ground. Easy way, their very easy targets. Clear them out.
    41. Release the gun and turn around. There's a cable car coming down behind you that's loaded with Helghast. Grab cover and pick your shots -- none of these soldiers gets very close to your position, so you should be able to take your time and knock them out.
    42. After that, you can return to your MG. Another wave of troops supported by two Heavies (that big armored enemy you fought in the last mission). Use your MG to slice up the support troops.
    43. When a heavy gets to where you can shoot him, hit him in the face, then get his tanks when he spins around. The MG should liquidate a heavy almost immediately.
    44. That leaves one more. If you can't hit him with your gun (which is probable), try heading ot the other mounted machine gun for an easy kill. If he's out of range, take cover and pick him off with your assault rifle. Remember to hit him in the face, then shoot the tanks when he spins around. You should have no trouble. Defeat the heavies and you'll end the mission.
