About the Game

Killzone 2 is a first-person shooter set in a science fiction world where space colonization is prevalent. In the previous games, members of the Helghast Empire launched an attack on the International Strategic Arms (ISA) colony on the planet Vekta. Killzone 2 takes place on the Helghast's home planet with the ISA striking back at the empire on their home turf. Players take on the role of Sgt. Tomas Sevchenko as he leads a squadron of ISA soldiers to disarm a stockpile of seized nuclear weapons.
Like the previous games, Killzone 2 will have a robust multiplayer component in addition to the single player story. The multiplayer gameplay is class-based with 16 total abilities. Players can mix and match between these abilities to customize the gameplay to their preferences.Wikipedia: Killzone 2
