This is Part 13 of our complete Killzone 2 Walkthrough, featuring Helghast Symbols, Multiplayer Medals, Ranks, and Ribbons
-
-
Corinth River
- The first symbol appears before you're told what it is by the game. When you reach the valve to open the floodgate, there will be a room across from you with Helghast troops. Look above that and to the right for the first symbol.
- The second is in a stairwell you'll reach after you gun down the Helghast in the canal from above, using the mounted machine gun. The game should explain Helghast symbols and prompt you to destroy it.
- At the lowest point at the end of the stairs is an orange-hued sewer-like room with Helghast and columns lining either side. After clearing it, you'll exit through a door on the other side, toward the corner. This leads into a hallway. At the corner of the hallway, the path continues to the left. Turn right and look through a chain-link fence for the last symbol.
-
Blood Meridian
- After getting off the Intruder but before talking to Narville, sprint to the left side of the battle where there's an alcove and a door. Reach the door and turn left to find another alcove and a symbol.
- Once you've blown open the door, you'll follow Garza through an alley and engage Helghast troops in an area between buildings. It includes a catwalk above and extends to the right as you enter it. Proceed left, to the back left corner, where there's another chain-link fence. Look up through the fence for the symbol.
- You'll approach a group of soldiers on one building firing at a Helghast position just across from it. The two buildings are joined by walkways. Someone will yell, "Someone get up to that MG." Go left and find the stairs up. Climb them and at the top, loop around the column to the left to find the symbol on the back wall.
- Soon after you'll come to an area with a second level and a ramp that leads up. On that second level is an MG that shoots down on you. The room is also filled with SMG troopers who come down the long ramp at you. Proceed up to the MG and look straight across from where the ramp that led you up exits. Walk straight from the ramp to the back wall and turn right. You'll see a chain-link fence and a symbol beyond it.
- Proceed past the two mortars into a room with a staircase that leads up to a door. An Intel case is on the floor to the right, in front of the door on the lower floor. Exit the room through the door at the top of the stairs, walk a few steps, then turn 180 degrees. You'll see the symbol above the door you just exited.
-
-
Visari Square
- You start on a rooftop. Before dropping down to engage Helghast, look across at about eye level at the building the Helghast occupy. The symbol is part of the decorations there.
- Inside the building on the second floor, you'll move into a room with a square hole in the floor surrounded by railings. On one wall of this room are doors. The second door from the right is slightly open, and you can shoot through it to get the symbol beyond.
- Ahead you'll approach an electrified door. Standing in front of the door, turn left. You should be facing the staircase you just climbed. Look across toward an angled wall in front of you, where a Helghast symbol is obscured by beams.
- When you link back up with Rico and Natko, they'll be behind some sandbags, waiting for a Helghast counterattack. Walk around the right side of this cover toward the wall with the ladder. Beside the ladder and near the top of it is the symbol.
-
Salamun District
- After entering the sewers, you'll exit a drain pipe into a large room that extends downward. Look down the wall across from you a little ways and you'll see the symbol.
- In the room where you destroy the mortar with the demo charge, you'll climb up to the second floor. After using the mounted machine gun to repel a wave of Helghast, Garza will open a door and you'll fight two Helghast shotgun troops. Go through the door and bear left until you're outside the building you just entered. There should be a catwalk leading in front of you, which has two doors on the right back to where you just were. Follow it to the second, furthest door. Above it is the symbol.
- When you're looking for ISA survivors, you'll be in a shallow pool of water with a platform above. Walk to the end where the platform ends. There will be ramps on either side of you. Still facing the way you were when you entered, turn right and look up for the symbol high on the wall.
- After clearing several laser trip wires, you'll climb a ladder out a manhole and back to the street. Look at the tall building to the left, where there is a red banner. At the top of it, above the other decorations, is the Helghast symbol.
-
-
Salamun Bridge
- As you approach the academy, look high above the door on the outside wall for the first symbol.
- You'll go in through that door into the academy. It's the very first one. Immediately do a 180 and look at the wall above the door you just entered. Symbol number 2.
- The last symbol is high above the door to Radec's office as you approach it, in the same relative location as the other two.
-
Suljeva Village
- Outside the village, you'll cross desert. Soon you'll come to a fissure that requires a bridge to cross. Instead, drop down into the fissure. Walk to the end toward the cliffside and you'll see the symbol at eye level on a piece of debris.
- Soon you'll reach a downed Intruder. Continue to walk downhill, where you'll see a really tall tower in the center of the village. Walk past it and do a 180 so you're looking back toward the Intruder. Look up at the tower for the symbol.
- When you enter the antenna access building, just as you enter the door, turn left. You'll find a hallway. Follow it down to the right. The symbol is on the wall above the hall ahead.
- After fighting snipers, you'll fight your way into the antenna building. Turn right just inside the door to find a small alcove. Go to it and the symbol will be on the wall there.
- In the train station, you'll be moving over a series of catwalks toward the second train. The catwalk path will turn left and take you to an edge, then turn back to the right and run parallel to a wall. Look on that wall (left if you're facing down the path) for your last symbol.
-
Tharsis Refinery
- When you disembark from the train, you'll split from Rico. After you kill the Helghast in the area, look at the side of the train past all the metal cover on the platform.
- An electrical field will force you to leave the conveyor belt bucket when you approach it. When you're out, walk toward where the field was and turn left to find an alcove. The symbol is on the back wall.
- Bring the electricity gun to the room where Radec and his troops are keeping the other members of alpha squad. Use the electricity gun on the sentry bots as they enter the room. The arcing current will destroy the symbol without you ever really knowing where it is.
-
Visari Palace
- The first thing you'll do is take a ramp down from a bridge and engage a mess of Helghast. They'll have MGs on an upper level. After you clear their position, face it, then turn to the right and look at the buildings you can't reach. The symbol is way up high on the pointy building.
- After clearing and destroying most of the towers at the Arc Tower installation, but before destroying everything and moving on, stand facing the huge cliff face at the far end of the battlefield. Do a 180 so you're facing in the opposite direction. Going in this direction, climb up onto the catwalks and walk as far back as you can. Turn around again and face toward the central Arc Tower. You should be on a small platform sort of beside one of the towers you have to demo. Look for a pointy protrusion coming right out toward the platform, and the symbol on its flat face.
- Just before entering the palace courtyard, in the first building you come to, look on the left (back) wall for a symbol.
- Before you enter the palace, but after clearing out the defending troops, move to the left of the palace doors to where there are some columns. Go behind the columns and, facing outward, turn left. You'll see the final symbol on the back of a column to our left.
