An anonymous source has stated that the DLC will include both paid and unpaid content, and will feature new multiplayer maps and gameplay modes. Killzone 2 takes place two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta. Now, the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance is invading the Helghast home planet to take out the enemy Emperor Visari. The game supports up to 32 players simultaneously and there are eight multiplayer maps. AI bots can be added to the different multiplayer maps, both online and offline.
