This is a detailed walkthrough for the 2005 Nintendo GameCube version of Killer 7. All controller configurations will be for the Nintendo Gamecube Controller. This walkthrough will tell you how to solve the puzzles, defeat the bosses and find all the collectibles in the game. Below the main text walkthrough we have included links to other walkthroughs, faqs and videos. Use the table of contents to jump to a particular section.
Killer 7 is an action game developed by Grasshopper Manufacturers and published by Capcom for multiple platforms, including the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube.
Introduction
- Relations between the United States and Japan are strained though they show no public sign of decay. Nuclear missiles are headed towards Japan to make it a parking lot. Will the United States save their bacon and intercept the missiles? Well that's up to you. You are a paid government assassin contracted to take out the sinister party factions who would see Japan get nuked. The anti globalist, anti social terrorist forces lead by Kun Lan. The Heaven Smile. Only the Killer 7 with godlike powers of assassination can save the world.
General Tips and Advice
- While Killer 7 takes a little bit from a variety of different genres, you'll find it has the most in common with survival/first person shooters. This means that marksmenship is paramount to success at Killer 7. You need to make sure you do everything you can to ensure great shooting. Level up your waiver and reload speeds.
Resurrection
Resurrecting is pretty easy with characters like Con and Kaede, but Mask and Harmon Smith require a lot more effort.
Remember to breathe! You might find yourself holding your breath as you mash along to infuse life. If you're not breathing while you press the button you're going to have a really difficult time.
Create a steady pace, then gradually ratchet up the intensity.
Marksmenship
- Remember to breathe! Thumb the stick, tapping it into position little by little. With some personalities it is easier to tap the reticle around then to try and smoothly guide the reticle to the target.
Controls
Movement
- Killer 7 utilizes a rail system instead of the usual control stick method. To walk or run you must press and hold the A button. When you reach a junction the screen will split into you available options. Simply choose a direction with the Control Stick and press the A button.
Aim/Fire Weapon
- To aim, hold down the R button for your targeting view, then press the A button to fire. Holding the B button will give you a Close Range Target Lock. The X button performs a Counter Attack when the enemy is close. Use the Control Stick to move the sights when aiming.
Scan
- Heaven Smiles are invisible so in order to target them you must scan while you aim. To scan, hold the R button to aim and then press the L button. You will be able to see the Heaven Smile and their weak point. Targeting their weak point will destroy them in one shot and allow you to collect the maximum amount of thick blood.
Target Toggle
- Toggle between targets by using the Control Pad while aiming with the R button.
Reload
- To reload thumb the C-stick.
Special Skill/Adjust Charge Level
- To use your special skills press the Y button. To charge a weapon press the Y button as many times as you want to increase your charge.
Camera
- To change your camera angle press the Z button.
Quick Turn/Cancel
- To perform a quick turn press the B button while moving with the A button.
Map
- Press the X button to open the map.
Sub Menu
- Press the Start button to pause or skip a cut scene.
Navigation
Junctions
- Junctions will be highlighted in a specific color to designate their status. Use the Control Stick to select a path.
- Grey: Path not selected but you have already been down it.
- Clear: Path not selected.
- Blue: Path already selected.
Harmon's Room
- Harmon's rooms usually consist of two or three junctions. Use the Control Stick to select a path. Also note the light above the door if it is green then you have not been into the room yet, if it is red then you have been there before.
TV
You can select different personalities by changing channels on the TV. To change channels use the Control Stick. Once a personality is selected you can chose to upgrade their abilities, inventory their abilities, select them for use or resurrect them.
You can also change personalities from the Pause Menu.
There is also a channel for the Blood Room. This is where you convert the Blood that you collect when killing Heaven Smiles, into Serum, which you can use to level up your characters. To turn the Blood Machine on, press the A button.
Save
- Not every Harmon's Room will allow you to save. You can only save when Samantha is wearing her maids uniform. If Samantha is in street clothes you will not be able to save. But you don't have to worry, it won't even be an option.
ENE
- Iwazaru resides in the ENE room and will give you information on any number of topics listed and separated by tabs.
Primary Characters
Harman Smith
Confined to a wheelchair but is a key personality.
Weapon of choice is an armor piercing sniper rifle.
Not immediately available for use.
Only be accessible for certain missions.
Possess the power of "God Killer".
Tended by abusive caregiver/assistant Samantha.
Garcian Smith, Leader of the Seven
- "You Son of a b***h..."
- Leader of the Killer 7 personalities.
- As the "Cleaner", whenever one of your personalities is killed, you must select Garcian Smith, retrace your steps and find the remains of your personality.
- Only weapon is a silenced handgun.
- One of the more vulnerable personalities and should be used only when necessary.
- If you die as Garcian Smith, your game will be over and all unsaved progress will be lost.
Dan Smith, 2nd Personality
"This is too easy..."
Dan Smith carries a custom magnum, which can fire a Collateral Shot from the blood you absorb killing Heaven Smiles. Dan is powerful and he has a fast reload speed. To increase the effectiveness of Dan make sure to level up his "waiver" so his gun hand doesn't move as much. Remember you are limited to six shots so you need to make them count.
Mask de Smith, 3rd Personality
"Hasta la vista..."
Mask is a wrestler who fashions himself something of a Luchador. He carries a pair of grenade launchers that fire either normal, electric or fire grenades. It is the most powerful of the Killer 7 weapons. He uses wrestling moves to destroy obstacles in your way including Heaven Smiles. Mask de Smith loves the kids.
Kaede Smith, 4th Personality
"Hurts, doesn't it?"
Kaede is the only female personality. She is able to summon deadly spirits by slitting her wrists and spewing a Blood Shower. This allows her to clear invisible barriers. Kaede also has an array of kicks used in close quarters combat. She carries a semi-automatic pistol with a scope. The scope has a 2X zoom and allows you to snipe enemies or hit difficult targets with precision. Her reload time is slow so make sure you consistently level her up in that category. You will also want to level up her "waiver" as well; I promise it will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Con Smith, 5th Personality
"F**k you!"
Con is blind but has exceptional hearing and speed. He is also carries a pair of firearms. He is the fastest shot and has the highest capacity carrying a pair of nine millimeters. Con has the fastest reload time and has super fast running speed. His close quarters combat involves the ability to shoot enemies that are in extreme close quarters or down on the ground.
Coyote Smith, 6th Personality
"You're f*****d..."
The Thug, Coyote Smith is a natural at picking locks. He carries a custom revolver somewhat like Dan. He also has the ability to jump high and enter hard to reach areas.
Kevin Smith, 7th Personality
"{>j}"
The knife wielding albino Kevin Smith has the ability to become invisible. He can throw an unlimited number of knives. In short you never have to reload with Kevin. When you're invisible, cameras cannot detect you. Using this ability will get you past motion detectors and cameras.
Killer 8: Harmon Smith
You must complete the game to access this character.... it's in the bag, don't worry about it.
"Touche...'"
Harmon Smith totes a Tommy Gun and wears a slick suit and hat. He cannot scan for weak spots on Heaven Smiles. However, killing Smiles that are susceptible to bullets will be a breeze with a 45. Automatic Machine Gun, no?
TIP: It's not impossible to figure out the weak spot on a Smile. You need to become a surgeon with the pumper. Try to stitch a Smile from toe to head. Up one leg to the head and down from the head to the other foot. You'll usually run across the sweet spot. You'll get the most practice against Poison Smiles.
Blood
Thick Blood
Thick blood is used in Serum.
You can use Serum to level up your characters or you can trade the Serum for information.
It is collected in the tank on the left.
Thin Blood
Thin blood restores your health and allows you to use your special abilities like charged bullets.
To restore health press the A button when "Blood" is selected on the Pause Menu.
Supporting Characters
- Iwazaru
- When you select the option of speaking with Iwazaru, he will give you cryptic advise on how to complete the mission or task you are faced with on the various levels of Killer 7. His clues can be helpful but if you select to speak with Iwazaru you must listen to his whole speech. In most instances you should be able to complete most levels without his help.
- Travis
- Travis was Harmon's first kill so he is there to haunt you. He will also give you valuable clues to solve puzzles and find items. He also wears clues on his T-shirts so take notice. As with Iwazaru, if you choose to speak with Travis you must listen to the whole speech.
- Christopher Mills
- A valuable informant who works through Garcian and usually meets on freeway over passes. You will meet him after completing the initial phase of the game.
- Kun Lan
- Harmon Smith's bitter rival, he is the creator of the Heaven Smile Terrorists. He also wields the power of the "God Hand".
- Heaven Smile
- Once touched by the "God Hand" these people become walking time bombs. They explode once they are close to you so make sure you kill them before they get too close. You'll know they are two close when the camera changes perspective to get a better shot of the explosion. Two explosions will likely kill your personality so be careful.
- TIP: Their appearance is always preceded by wicked laughter. When entering a new area pause for a moment and listen for laughter. The further you are from the Heaven Smile the more time you'll have to take them out.
- Yoon-Hyun
- Yoon is a bitter rival that you killed. He can offer you tips and advice but he charges you in blood plus he doesn't like you. He'll call you a loser but remember he's the one that's dead.
Memos
There are Pigeon Memos at various locations throughout Killer 7. They usually offer some useful information and can be read on the Pause Menu.
Walkthrough
Target 00: Angel

Angel begins with a cutscene in which you are introduced to Garcian Smith and Christopher Mills, who you pass on the street. Mills gives you your first mission which is to destroy the Heaven Smile headquarters and capture the chief alive. Before gameplay begins there is another cutscene where you transform into Dan Smith.
Celtic Building
- The overall objective in the Celtic Building is to get to the top floor to face Kun Lan (the chief). In order to do this you need to discover 1 item, 2 objects and solve 2 puzzles. The Celtic Building has five floors, a roof and a parking garage. Initially you are only able to access the parking garage, first floor, second floor and third floor. To access the rest you need to find objects and solve puzzles.
- Start in the Lobby where you encounter your first Heaven Smile. Kill the Smile and move North to the hallway. Iwazaru will be there. Talk to him if you like; he will give you clues.
- You encounter your first Harmon's Room. Go inside and save your game by talking to Samantha. Note You can also change characters now. Any one of the available personalities will work but Dan is probably your best bet right now.
- TIP: Con Smith's speed ability allows you to get around faster but his weapon lacks power.
- After Harmon's Room head towards the Elevator Hall. Kill the Heaven Smile that appears and move on.
- Continue North down the hallway. A Smile comes on your right. Stop and kill it. At the end of the hallway Travis stands in front of the elevator. Talk to him if you like but he won't let you use the elevator.
- Continue North down the hallway. You see Iwazura and can talk to him if you like.
- Continue North down the hallway to the parking structure. Here you encounter a Camelia Smile. Kill it and set your sights to the Egg Layer hanging from the ceiling.
- Tip: When you shoot the eggs they become Heaven Smiles. Therefore, you want to shoot the eggs as soon as they fall so you have more time to kill the Smile. To kill the Egg Layer you must target the glowing, yellow dot to the right of the hanging body. This can be difficult since you're distracted by Heaven Smiles and/or eggs coming at you. Use Dan to destroy the egg layer.
- After you kill the Egg Layer move forward to Travis who sits in his car. He sends you after the Queen by way of the Gatekeeper. He also gives you a Soul Shell which need to pay the Gatekeeper.
- Now go upstairs to the second floor. You encounter a survivor.
- When you round the corner you encounter three Smiles so take them out.
- Next up will be Harmon's Room. You can't save there.
- TIP: Level up your personalities by making serum in the blood room. When you turn on the TV, the Blood room is the first channel. You only get to make serum about four times before the machine goes offline.
- TIP: Start leveling up waiver. Also you can level up any of the available characters. Leveling up Kaede's waiver will help you in the long run so start now.
- A smile waits for you when you come out so kill it and move on.
- TIP: This Smile is pretty close so instead of running toward it, you should stop and pan over to it from your gun sight. Otherwise you'll be too close to take it out before it reaches you.
- Head down the hallway to the stairs for residents. You're introduced to Micro Smiles.
- TIP: Micro Smiles fly overhead and blind you when they explode. If you shoot them they will fully recharge your health. Certain ones will awaken your dormant personalities.
- There are two Heaven Smiles. Kill them and head down the hall. A Micro Smile is overhead. Try to kill it.
- Travis is at the end of the hall. Talk to him if you like.
- Take the hallway East where a Smile runs at you. Take it out. You encounter a survivor.
- Take the hallway south, a running Smile comes at you. Take it out. Yoon-Hyun is in the hallway; you can talk to him if you like but he charges for his services.
- Head into room 212: This is a puzzle room. There is an air condition control panel and candles.
- Solution Your task is to light the candles. To do this you need the Fire Ring. The fire ring is in the laundry room, which is on the 2nd floor. To get there you have to get to the 3rd floor first.
- Head south down the hallway and you encounter a ghost. Proceed to the stairs.
- Head South, South West down the hallway and you find a carrier pigeon. Collect it, read the message and move on.
- Go back the way you came and enter Harmon's Room. You can't save but you can level up or wake up the sleeping personalities.
- Head west to 3rd floor. A Smile waits for you. Take it out and then look to your right where two Smiles are coming from across the large room.
- TIP: Pan for them from your gun sights and take them out quickly.
- Continue on to the library then West to the hallway.
- Take the stairs down to Harmon's room and save your game.
- Continue down the stairs to the laundry room and go to the dryer. Inside the dryer is a head with a ring in its mouth. This is the Fire Ring.
- NOTE: Let her talk and she'll give you the ring. Before you leave, note that there is "an object" behind you. If you check it now there will be nothing there.
- Continue forward down the hallway and look up. A Micro Smile flys overhead. Take it out.
- Ahead of you the door is locked. Select Coyote Smith to unlock it.
- TIP: Now you can access the 2nd floor without going back the way you came. But remember whenever you revisit an area it will have new Smiles and, possibly, more than you encountered the last time.
- Once on the 2nd Floor, take the Hallway West and go South to the 2nd floor hall.
- Go south down the hallway and you find Harmon's room.
- Head to room 212, move towards the air condition and turn it off.
- Move to the candles, equip the fire ring and light the candles.
- NOTE: The candles must be lit in chronological order. Each candle has a number on the candle stick. If you're playing a more difficult setting just count the ridges on the candle sticks.
- After the candles are lit the shelves open up. Move towards the shelves and collect an "odd engraving"
- As you leave 212 you encounter more Smiles.
- Now go to the 3rd floor and head down to the end of the hall, past Yoon-Hyun, to the Restroom.
- Go to the Sprinklers and equip the fire ring to set them off.
- Walk into the toilet and flush it.
- Now you need to get back to the laundry room which is on second floor. Use the door you unlocked with Coyote to get back.
- Once in the laundry room move to "an object" and collect another engraving.
- Now is a good time to go to Harmon's room and change to Mask De Smith.
- TIP: Crossing the halls on the 3rd floor is a challenge. There are a lot of Smiles. Mask can take out multiple Smiles with his grenade launchers.
- Head to the library where you can choose to walk towards the shelves but there is no access. Instead walk to the control panel and place the engravings.
- A path is revealed through the shelves.
- Continue forward down the hallway and turn towards the warehouse.
- Blast the wall with your grenade launchers.
- Of course there is a Smile so kill it and continue south down the hallway.
- You find another carrier pigeon. Collect it and read the message.
- If you head North down the hallway, you encounter Travis.
- Now you can exit through the warehouse and take the stairs to the 4th floor!
- Visit Harmon's room and select Kaede. Upon leaving you encounter a survivor.
- Head north down the hallway. You see someone hanging from the ceiling on your right.
- Use your blood shower ability and a barrier is destroyed.
- There is a jewelry display case with a Soul Shell. Now you have enough Shells to pay the Gatekeeper.
- Turn around and head the other way. There is a hallway formed from a blast hole.
- Take it and you'll pass a wall with a crack in it. This is a sign that you need Mask to blast it but hold off.
- Continue on until you reach the next hallway and go South. At the end of the hall you see Travis with a message written in blood on the wall.
- Use your blood shower ability again and all but two letters will disappear. Remember these letters: N O.
- Kaede's job is done. Go to Harmon's room, save and change to Mask De Smith.
- Head back to that cracked wall you passed up and blast it with your grenade launchers.
- Head to Room 406. The room is locked so switch to Coyote and unlock it.
- This room has a Smile waiting for you, take it out and continue on to Travis.
- Head to the boiler room where you are asked to input two letters.
- Input N and O, the letters that were left on the wall. This opens a door to the 5th floor. You're almost there!
- Go to Harmon's room and you should probably change to Kaede.
- After you leave Harmon's room, head to the other boiler room at the end of the hall. This leads to the Gatekeeper.
- The Gatekeeper takes your Soul Shells and lets you pass.
- The route from here is Colosseum to Hallway, where you encounter the ghost of Kess Bloodysunday, then on to the Vinculum gate.
- Once through the Vinculum gate you are introduced to a Speed Smile.
- TIP: He'll be pretty far away so use Kaede's scope and aim for his mouth. He'll move kind of funny, like he is pop-locking or something. Just try and keep your sights at his head level. He'll eventually pop into your sights and you can take him out.
- Now take the elevator hall to a hallway to Harmon's room. You can save here and I suggest you do so.
- Take the hallway South to the elevator and you change to Garcian Smith automatically.
- Continue down the hallway to the large hall.
- Now you're in the Dance hall and you are changed to Harmon Smith.
- When the cutscene ends your only option is to aim and fire at the Queen. Take out her wings. This won't kill her though.
- You are changed into Dan Smith automatically.
- TIP: You can select who you want now. Any of the personalities can get it done but Kaede is best. Why? She's got a scope silly!

Boss Battle: The Queen
There is a mini cutscene where you see the Queen's back. On her back are four red faces. You need to shoot all four but she won't let you get behind her.
The Queen shoots flame from her hand preceded by a white spark or flash of smoke. When you see this signal, start running. She'll be shooting flames and stuck in that position just long enough for you to get an angle on a face. You don't need to be directly behind her. You will not have enough time. Just get at an angle and sight in.
If you execute this perfectly you should only have to run from four flames. But who's perfect? As long as your waiver is leveled up, it shouldn't take you long to take out the Queen. A steady gun hand helps.
Now that the Queen is dead, exit the dancehall using the door opposite the one you came in.
You are changed to Harmon Smith. Take the large hall to the top floor. It's all over but the crime now.
You'll see the Queen, with her wings again, sitting in a chair. If you try to shoot her, nothing will happen.
To the right of her will be Kun Lan, fading in and out. When he becomes solid, shoot him.
After the cutscene, Kun will be standing with his right hand raised and sparkling. Shoot that hand and he lets the bullet carry him away.
Angel is complete.
Target 01: Sunset

Part I: Restaurant Fukushima
- Sunset begins with a cutscene where Garcian meets with Christopher Mills for his next assignment. You also get your first glimpse into the interesting but convoluted plot of Killer 7. You don't have to worry too much about the information revealed here it's only to propel the story not the gameplay. After the cutscene you find yourself in Garcian's apartment.
- Go to Harmon's Room and there is a cutscene
- Leave Harmon's Room and head outside. This triggers the next cutscene.
- Your objective is to find Fukushima and take him out. You'll need to find one item, two objects and solve two puzzles.
- Enter the gate and you change to Mask de Smith automatically.
- Note: You can only be Mask, Kaede and Coyote, the rest of the personalities must be awakened. You'll get to awaken one for free but the rest require you to kill 10 smiles first.
- Pass the gate, you encounter two smiles, take them out and press on to Harmon's Room.
- Save and awaken a personality.
- Leave Harmon's room. Use Mask's special ability to break the rock.
- Continue forward to the foyer.
- Go into the waiting room, face 3 Smiles and 1 Camelia Smile. Grenade the 3 Smiles then change to Kaede. Scope in and kill the Camelia Smile by hitting it's weak point. You receive extra thick blood for this.
- Continue on to the Carrier pigeon.
- After you collect the pigeon, a Smile appears behind you.
- After dealing with the Smile, change to Coyote Smith and jump up to the attic. A Smile waits for you. Take it out.
- Continue on to the roof and head to the room. Enter the room and head for the closet.
- The severed head gives you the Water ring.
- Head back down the way you came. You encounter Another Smile, kill it and head to the meeting room.
- From the meeting room head north to the courtyard. A Smile runs up to you, take it out. You encounter a total of 3 Smiles.
- Proceed north down the hallway to the lobby. "You are introduced to the Bombhead Smile.
- TIP: You need to shoot them when their faces are exposed but make sure they are not too close to you. Use a head shot.
- Another Smile turns the corner with two more Bombheads.
- Continue through to the lounge then to Harmon's room. Save and level up.
- Exit the room, two Bombheads wait for you. Take them out.
- Take the hallways to outside and head to the garden.
- Select Kaede and take out two Smiles from long range then move forward.
- Use your Blood Shower ability to break the barrier and move forward.
- You encounter a Camelia Smile. Try to kill it with one shot.
- Behind the Smile is an Egg Layer. Just like in Angel, aim for the glowing ball and take it out. It should take about 8 - 10 shots with Kaede.
- When the Egg Layer is destroyed you walk past.
- Turn around and head back to the restaurant.
- Take the hallway north to the stairs. Go upstairs.
- You are introduced to the Spiral Smile.
- TIP: Kill them by shooting the green face.
- Go to the guest room, two Spiral Smiles roll up behind. A Smile will comes ahead of you. Kill it.
- Continue to the next guest room and you find a picture on the wall.
- You see a dry cherry blossom on the painting.
- Turn and walk over to the Vase. Equip the water ring and walk to the Vase. The Vase fills with water and the flowers bloom.
- Turn and go back to the picture. The picture turns around and reveals an "odd engraving".
- Walk to the object to collect it.
- Leave the guest room and kill two Spirals on the way out.
- Head upstairs, by moving west.
- Go into Harmon's Room to level up and/or change personalities.
- Continue downstairs to the downstairs guest rooms.
- TIP: If you explore this level you find two rooms with nothing but trouble. A regular Smile and a Bombhead are hiding in each of these rooms. One room has Travis in it and the other just has a coffee table.
- Take the hallways north to the door, near the statue.
- The engraving opens the door to the special room.
- Head east down the hall and collect the carrier pigeon.
- Head to Harmon's Room and choose Mask de Smith.
- Continue North down the hallway to the Kitchen.
- Mask moves the debris that blocks the entrance.
- After the scene take the hallway north to the passage and Harmon's room.
- Change to Kaede and head north down the hallway to the annex.
- You are introduced to the ceiling walking Smiles. Kill it and move on.
- Another Smile comes running at you as you reach Yoon-Hyun. Kill it.
- Ignore Yoon, he's a douche, and walk to the sign. This sign holds the key to this level's second puzzle.
- Make a note of the sign, the colors, what animals and what direction they are on the compass.
- Objective: go to the houses at each direction and select the corresponding animal for the house you're in, e.g., North house, Black Warrior.
- North = Black Warrior
- South = Red Phoenix
- East = Azure Dragon
- West = White Tiger
- Take the hallways around and you encounter each directional house.
- Go to West House, two Smiles are inside, one on the roof and the other walking. Take them out, move forward and select White Tiger.
- Head north down the hallway, stop at Harmon's Room and save.
- Continue North to North house. Kill two Smiles inside, move forward and select Black Warrior.
- Continue east and collect a carrier pigeon.
- Enter the East house, kill the Smiles and select Azure dragon.
- A Smile comes at you as soon as you exit.
- Head to the south house. Enter, kill the Smiles (both on the roof) and choose red phoenix.
- When you leave the south house the bridge drops.
- Take north hallways to bridge and collect Soul Shell.
- Take the bridge to the hallway and the hallway to the Gatekeeper.
- Pay the Gatekeeper the shells and move on to the coliseum where you meet the ghost of Kess Bloodysunday.
- At Vinculum Gate you are introduced to the Phantom Smile.
- TIP: Take it out with a head shot or a hand shot depending on which is larger.
- Head to the foyer then the hallway. You change to Harmon automatically.
- Go to the owner's room.
- After the cutscene continue to the Owner's room again, then down the hallway. You change into Mask De Smith automatically.
- Enter Harmon's room and save. Select Con Smith.
- Continue down the hallway to the Large hall.
Boss Battle: Julia Kisugi
- This battle is fairly simple. All you have to do is shoot Julia more times than she shoots you before the timer runs out. With Con you can't lose, just make sure you're hitting her. She won't show any signs of damage but you'll rack up the hits. When the timer expires a giant Fukushima head will drop between you as the score is tallied. If you succeed the head will break and Julia will die.
- After Julia dies there will be a cutscene and you'll see that "Part I is complete"
- head to Harmon's room to save and get ready for Part II.
Part II: Kaku Building

- Part II begins in Garcian's Trailer house. Go outside to trigger the first cutscene. After the level intro there is another cutscene. The objective is to kill agent/assassin Depaul. You met him before in the restaurant disguised as a chef in part I.
- Walk to the car where there are some letters scrawled on the windshield. Make a note of them: BTJ-CSC-WTS
- Take the road and you are changed into Kevin Smith.
- Proceed to Harmon's Room and save.
- 2 Smiles drop down. Kill them and proceed North. Kill Another Smile.
- At the Vending Machine and select the following: Bloody Tomato Juice, Creamy Southern Coffee, Wild Vegetable Tempura Soup.
- The machine reveals a passage, walk through it.
- You are introduced to the Poison Smile. Note If you don't hit their glowing weak spot they'll get back up.
- Move forward and kill 3 Smiles.
- Go West through the hallway to Harmon's Room.
- Change to Coyote and go to the Manager's Room.
- Walk to the Control Panel and turn it off. What does that do? You'll see when you get to Room 105.
- Walk to the Poster and note the dice that the woman holds: Snake Eyes.
- Turn around, a Smile is behind you. Kill the Smile and exit the Room.
- Make your way down the hallways to Room 105.
- Walk to the Dice and begin to roll them. ''What does that do? You have to keep rolling the dice until you get Snake eyes. But if you don't turn off the Control panel in the Manager's Room, you can't roll it.
- When you roll Snake eyes a drawer opens.
- Walk to the drawer and collect the Soul Shell.
- A Smile is be behind you. Kill it and head South to the stairs.
- Take the stairs to the 2nd floor, 3 Smiles come around the corner.
- Go to Harmon's room and make serum. Level up.
- TIP: Don't be afraid to change personalities but you'll need Coyote again.
- Leave Harmon's Room and go to room 207.
- Once inside, look at the Poker hand: Straight Flush.
- Remember the cards and leave the room.
- 3 Smiles are in the the hallway when you exit. Take them out.
- Go to the end of the hall, a Poison Smile appears; Kill it and continue into the room.
- Go to the cards and click the 9 of Spades.
- Collect the Soul Shell.
- A Poison Smile is waiting for you outside.
- Take the stairs to the 3rd floor and you are introduced to the Mother Smile. Aim for the glowing yellow ball and give it a few direct hits. A Mother Smile is a walking Egg Layer.
- Face your first Mother Smile and head to Harmon's Room.
- Change to Coyote Smith and go to room 307.
- look at the poster and make a note of the order: 1 4 3 7 6 2 5
- Go down the hall, a Mother Smile is waiting. Kill it.
- Go to room 301. There is an Egg Layer hanging from the ceiling. Take it out and move to where it was.
- Use you Coyote to jump up to the 4th floor through the hole in the roof.
- Pick up an object: Odd Engraving.
- Go back down to the 3rd floor and head West.
- A Poison Smile appears, take it out.
- Continue down the hall, a ghost hangs over the doorway to the Horse Race.
- Go to the Horse Race and arrange the numbers to correspond to the order you saw in room 307: 1 4 3 7 6 2 5.
- After the numbers are arranged select "S" to start the race.
- You receive a Soul Shell for winning the race.
- Take the stairs to the 4th floor. 2 Smiles attack. Take them out.
- Go South, Smiles attack from behind. Continue to Harmon's Room. Save your game and wake up some personalities.
- Level up (by making or using serum) and change to Kevin Smith.
- As you leave Harmon's Room and walk the hall, stop and study the posters. There are the clues to the next puzzle.
- When you turn the corner there are a number of Smiles to deal with. Kill them and move on.
- You see room 401. The only thing in there is Travis and you don't have to talk to him.
- Continue North down the hallway and you see a ghost hanging from the ceiling.
- TIP: You'll also see Yoon-Hyun. You can waste blood on his info if you like but it's not worth it.
- Continue to the Cards and select the following: 1 for the 1st card, 2 for the 2nd card and 2 on the 3rd card.
- You get a Soul Shell for doing it right. Collect it and head out.
- Go East and use Kevin's Special Ability (turn invisible) to pass through the motion detector.
- Continue on through the hallway.
- Go to the GateKeeper and give him your Soul Shells.
- Continue down the hallway to the Colosseum. meet Kess Bloodysunday.
- Continue to Vinculum Gate.
- You are introduced to the Back Side Smile. Oh joy!
- TIP: To kill him you need to hit his wings, to spin him around. Get him off balance with one shot and quickly follow with another to get at his back. There will be a glowing yellow oval. Target that and destroy it and he's history.
- Move forward down the hallways until you reach Harmon's Room.
- Save your game and change to Mask De Smith.
- Exit and take the Elevator.
- Blast the wall.

Boss Battle: Agent DePaul
- To beat DePaul you need to make the ceiling collapse on top of him. You notice that the beam above the hallway is cracked.
- Take aim at the ceiling and time DePaul's movements.
- When he is under a portion of the beam, blast it with your grenade launchers so that the debris falls on top of him.
- Of course he is shooting at you, which throws off your aim. Keep trying.
- You have 3 chances as there are 3 portions of the beam that can be blasted. If you miss with all three you cannot defeat DePaul.
- Once you catch him with the debris he finishes the job by topping himself.
- You have defeated Agent DePaul.
Conclusion
Continue past Depaul's corpse to the Mah Jong Room.
After the cutscene walk past the corpses and go to the Storage Box.
Find the severed head and collect the Wind Ring.
Next move to the Control Panel where you place an engraving.
Now for the box with the Elevator Controls. Switch the controls to B1 - Top.
Exit the Mah Jong room, a Poison Smile comes around the corner. Take it out and move on.
Go back through the hallways to the elevator. You encounter 2 Smiles on the ceiling in front of the elevator. Take them out.
You meet a ghost. He gives you a clue on how to kill the final bosses.
Take the elevator to the roof.
3 Smiles drop down consecutively. Continue to move forward as you take them out. The Smiles continue to respawn.
Go to Harmon's Room and save your game.
Exit Harmon's Room and move forward to the Roof. Stop and look up. You see a Micro Smile. Try and take it out.
Turn and go back towards Harmon's Room but continue West past it.
Stop in front of the Meeting Room.
2 Smiles fall in front of you. Kill them.
Equip the Wind Ring.
Walk to the Meeting Hall and the curtain is be blown off.
Boss Battle: Kurahashi And Akiba
- This battle requires Kaede Smith, steely nerves and a little patience.
- Select Kaede Smith.
- Move to the center of the conference table.
- Destroy the floral arrangement. Now you have a clear shot at your enemies.
- Begin by aiming for Akiba's (the tall one) tie. When you hit it, the tie flies in Akiba's face.
- Shoot the brains that the pair fire at you before they hit you.
- Kurahashi walks over to Akiba to straighten his tie.
- Kurahashi's brain is exposed for a moment. Take aim and fire.
- TIP: you don't need to scan while you're aiming at these two. It makes it more difficult to remain on target.
- It only takes 2 or 3 good shots on Kurahashi's brain to kill him. Once he's dead focus on Akiba.
- To kill Akiba, take aim at the brains he is hurling at you. When you destroy 2 or 3 of them he ducks down and exposes his brain. Take aim and fire. You need to hit his brain 2 to 3 times as well.
- TIP: you won't have a lot of time to take the shot so you have to find your target quickly.
- Congratulations, you have now completed Sunset. Dan Smith would say,"This is too easy."
Target 02: Cloudman

- Cloudman begins with a cutscene introducing Andrei Ulmeyda. After this you begin in Garcian's Trailerhouse again.
- Go to Harmon's Room and select Harmon from the TV.
- After the cutscene go outside to trigger the next cutscene. In this scene you meet Christopher Mills and find out what your next assignment is.
Ulmeyda City
- Your Objective in Cloudman is to find Andrei Ulmeyda and those we find we usually kill. Finding this target will actually require you to take a test so pay attention when you see propaganda posters.
- Pass Iwazura and take the road North to Ulmeyda City. You see Travis, speak with him if you like.
- Proceed through the gate, and you're introduced to the Ulmeyda Smile.
- TIP: To take them out you have to shoot them in the yellow shirt. If you miss they will run at you. If you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone but if one of the runs into you, they will explode.
- You change to Coyote automatically and immediately face 4 Smiles.
- TIP:If your waver is leveled up, Coyote will lock onto their weak spots and you can take them out from a distance.
- Continue forward as you kill more Smiles.
- Take the road West to Harmon's Room and save.
- Exit the room and head North down the road. You encounter at least 3 more Smiles. Note On this level they never stop coming so do what you have to do and keep an ear out.
- Talk to the Cult member.
- Continue on to the Gas Station. A Smile approaches. Take him out and continue around the Gas Station to the Semi Truck.
- Change to Mask De Smith and pull the truck.
- Walk back to the Gas Station and go to the Gas Pump.
- You discover a severed head in the pump. You listen to her story and she gives you the Stamina Ring.
- Talk to Travis and make notice of his shirt; it says: HUSTLE. This is a password to open the Gate on this level so remember.
- Continue down the road West.
- Go through the gate and you are introduced to the Giant Smile.
- TIP: To kill Giant Smiles just use Mask De Smith and take them out with your Grenade Launchers from as far away as possible. If you kill them too close their flaming corpse will fall on you.
- Ulmeyda Smiles are all over so feel free to kill them and collect the thick blood.
- Go down the road West and collect a Carrier Pigeon.
- Go to the Suburb and talk to the Cult Member.
- Continue on through the neighborhood. Note When you approach a house, turn into Coyote and jump on the roof. This is how to get inside.
- 217 Terry St is empty but has 1 Ulmeyda Smile
- 208 Terry St is empty but has 2 Smiles in the room.
- 218 Terry St is empty.
- 209 Terry St is empty but has 3 Spiral Smiles in the room.
- Continue West, North West down the road.
- 219 Terry St is empty but has 5 or more Smiles inside.
- TIP: You probably need Con Smith to kill them all.
- 210 Terry St has 5 Smiles inside. Kill the Smiles and continue on to the Vase.
- Equip the Water ring. The Vase fills with water and an object rises to the top.
- Pick up the Odd Engraving.
- Exit the room and head West, North West on the road to Harmon's room. Level Up.
- Take the road North, then East and you see a Camelia Smile.
- TIP: Make sure you got a good lock on the weak spot or it'll runaway when you shoot it and you'll miss out on a lot of blood.
- Go to 206 Terry St, use Coyote, if you're not already, and jump to the roof.
- There is a Camelia Smile inside, take it out.
- Continue forward to the blood spatter on the wall.
- Change to Kaede and use your ability. You reveal a piece of the Ulmeyda Collection. Number 12 to be exact.
- Note: You must collect all 12.
- Exit the roof and go East. You encounter a double Egg Layer. Take it out.
- Continue East and look up to see the Micro Smile flying at you. Take it down.
- When you come to the end of the road, you find that the door is locked.
- Change to Coyote and unlock the door.
- Head North West, North down the road.
- Talk to the Cult Member and then proceed to the gate.
- You input a code. The code is: HUSTLE. Note It is written on Travis's shirt by the Gas Station.
- Go through the unlocked gate and you are attacked by Giant Smiles. Change to Mask De Smith to take them out.
- TIP: Aim for they eye if you use anyone else. Make sure it's open when you shoot it and you can take them out. Just don't be too close or they will fall on you anyway.
- Take the road East to Harmon's Room and save.
- Leave Harmon's Room and take the road North West to get to the Bulletin board.
- Check the board and then look at the Poster.
- Take the road North to the Diner.
- Take the West, South West hallway to the Photo, which refers to 206 Terry St.
- Back track to the North, East hallway and go to the Toy Dispenser.
- Click the knob until you collect all the figures except for number 7. Note If you collect all the figures except number 7 before your counter runs out you can leave. You're finished.
- Take the West hallway to exit and hit the road.
- You talk to a ghost of Julia Kisugi.
- Continue to the locked door and change to Coyote Smith.
- Take the North road to the Railroad and talk to the Cult Member.
- Equip the photo when you get to the drug store and a cutscene begins.
- The Pharmacy lock is released.
- Change to Kaede and go into the Warehouse, look up and take out the Micro Smile in the distance.
- Go to the Ulmeyda Collection and get number 7.
- Come out and shoot the two Wing Smiles across the street.
- Talk to the Cult Member and take the road to the Post Office.
- Talk to Travis about First Life and move on.
- Take the Mountain Path to Harmon's Room and level up and/or change personalities.
- Continue up the Mountain path.
- Talk to the Cult Member.
- Continue up the Mountain path. Note Make note of the posters.
- When you make it to Travis he spouts off some nonsense about 93 lies and 7 truths. Whatever.
- Continue up the Mountain path to the First Life gate. You are quizzed and here are the answers to the questions: 1=3, 2=4, 3=purple, 4=Texas Broncos, 5=Perfect City, 6=6, 7=Suit.
- The gate opens; go to the Guard's Room.
- After the cutscene you deal with 4 Wing Smiles.
- Go East to the Company Property then to Harmon's Room.
- Exit Harmon's Room and go West, North West to the First Life Building.
- Run to the Trailer/Wagon and enter the Control Room.
- Go through the Ambulances to find Ulmeyda.
- TIP: He should be outside number 11 or when you see a purple floor. The order I took was Ambulance 11, Ambulance 9 and Ambulance 6.

Boss Battle: Ulmeyda
All you have to do to defeat Ulmeyda is work your way behind him and target his red brain floating around him. It is not very difficult.
Use Kaede Smith and travel around the Ambulances.
Don't face Ulmeyda always try and get behind him.
Once you're behind him you'll see his brain. He won't allow you to be behind him for too long so take your shot quickly.
It will only take one shot at the Red Brain to kill Ulmeyda. Take the shot and kill Ulmeyda. This will trigger a cutscene.
You have completed Cloudman.
Target 03: Encounter

Iszk Land
You have to find a number of items and encounter a few new and hard to kill Smiles so be prepared. You should have all your personalities leveled up to about 3. Kaede's waver should be at 4 though.
Go to Harmon's room and save.
Head North to the Arcade.
Talk to Travis if you like, you are attacked by a Smile and 2 Protector Smiles follow.
TIP: To kill a Protector Smile use Mask's Grenade Launchers.
Move North through the passage to Harmon's Room. Level up and change personalities if you like.
Head North down the hallway to North, North West Hallway.
The West door slides shut.
Move on to the ISZK String Quartet and you are introduced to the Broken Smile.
Head North East to Cinema 4. Kill 3 Smiles.
Go on stage, change to Mask De Smith and blast the crack on the screen.
Find the treasure chest, which gives Mask a new outfit.
Exit Cinema 4 and head East.
TIP: Switch between Mask and your other personalities to clear this area. Use Mask when you need to kill a Protector Smile and who ever you're comfortable with to kill regular Smiles. This is part of what the game is about so take advantage of your abilities!
Enter Cinema 3, kill 3 Smiles and you can speak with Travis if you like.
Go on Stage, talk to Kurahashi and Akiba.
Exit Cinema 3.
Go East to Cinema 2, kill a 3 times Egg Layer.
TIP: Use Coyote with a charged shot or maybe Dan. Aim at the glowing balls.
Go to Harmon's Room and save. Wake up your dormant personalities.
Exit Cinema 2 and head East to Cinema 1.
Kill a Gold Smile and a Micro Smile.
TIP: Killing Micro Smiles will replenish your health.
Go to the stage, change to Coyote, if you're not already, so you can pick the lock and open the treasure chest.
Talk to Severed head and receive the Time Ring.
As you exit there are 2 Protector Smiles and 2 Backside Smiles. Kill them and exit Cinema 1.
Continue East past Iwazura to an Object.
Equip Time ring, collect Odd Engraving.
Change to Mask De Smith to kill the Protector Smile coming up behind you.
Head West until you reach the South West road.
Go South to the Main Breaker. The Engraving is placed. Turn the Breaker off.
The signs along the cinemas light up and Balloons are released.
Go back West to the cinemas and stop at the Balloons caught on a lamp post.
Equip Wind Ring and the balloons are untangled and you receive the Soul Shell.
Head back West to the passage.
Go North down the hallway and Change to Mask De Smith to blast the cracked door.
You are introduced to the Protector Z Smile.
TIP: To kill a Protector Z, use Mask De Smith and charge once (hitting Y once while aiming) a Shock Shell.
Head straight ahead East down the road to Harmon's Room and save.
Now exit Harmon's, go ahead down the road and turn towards the Freaky Fun House.
TIP: You will always encounter a Mother Smile at either the Fun House or the Killer Mansion.
Change to Mask De Smith to gain entry into the Fun House.
Once inside, check the info board then head North down the hallway.
Head to Child's Entrance and change to Con Smith.
Enter the Loop Da Loop.
Check the Information board and move North East through the hallway.
A Phantom Smile sneaks around the corner to meet you. Kill him.
Change to Mask De Smith and blast the cracked wall.
A Phantom Smile is coming up behind you so be prepared.
Take the West hallway to the information board and check it.
Enter Squeaker's Attack.
You encounter 2 Phantom Smiles.
Take the hallway to Burning Hot Hell.
Enter Burning Hot Hell and upon the turntable. You see a big block of cheese with holes. When the rats pop up shoot them. Kill all the rats and a door unlocks.
TIP: Keep your eyes open for Phantom Smiles; they'll be in the room the whole time.
Enter the door to Burning Hot Hell and check the information board.
Take the North hallway to the Burning Bridge.
Equip the Water Ring and turn your attention to the Flying Smile coming at you. Change to Mask De Smith and blast it. Note There are 2 more across the bridge.
Continue across the bridge and meet a ghost.
Look above and hit the Micro Smile.
Continue forward to the information board and check it.
Take the South hallway to the Gorilla Gallery.
Change to Kaede and scope in on the targets placed on each gorilla.
When you've taken out all the Gorillas the locks release.
Proceed to Spinny Spinny.
You are introduced to the Ceramic Smile and must do battle with it.
TIP: Using Kaede you simply have to time your shot here so be patient. It will only take one shot to the heart. It would be possible with anyone but easier with Kaede.
Take the North East hallway to Fallen Angel.
Get the Demon Gun and Soul Shell.
Exit and go to Harmon's Room to save.
Leave and head to Killer Mansion. There is a Protector Z Smile behind you.
Take the West hall to hallway. This Mansion is a maze and going through the wrong door will set you back at the start.
TIP: The Killer Mansion is a great place to harvest blood and you'll need extra for the Boss Battle. If in need come back to the Mansion and rack up some kills.
Choose the door that has a Heaven Smile facing directly forward or facing you. This should be the 3rd door.
Go down the hallway and select the next door with a portrait of a Heaven Smile facing you.
There is a Protector Z waiting for you so switch to Mask De Smith.
Choose the next door with a Heaven Smile facing you.
Change to Coyote and use your ability to jump into the tower.
Travis waits for you. He gives you 2 Soul Shells.
Head forward towards the chair.
You change to Garcian automatically.
Proceed to the sofa.
Go to Harmon's Room and level up.
You exit to Adventure Playland.
Go North on the road to the door that lies between Killer Mansion and Freaky Fun House.
Go to the Gatekeeper and pay him the Shells.
Proceed West down the hallway to the Colosseum where you meet a ghost.
Proceed to Vinculum Gate where you are introduced to the Mithral Smile.
TIP: You must sight in on his weak spot, the rest is armored and takes a number of shots to get the armor off.
Take each successive hallway until you reach Harmon's Room. Save your game.
Take the North North East Hallway to the Revolving doors. Exit and you meet a ghost.
Proceed to the Parking Lot and run to Ayame Blackburn (the girl holding a gun).
Boss Battle: Ayame Blackburn I
Ayame Blackburn needs to be shot (and she needs it) a total of 6 times. However, she must be running for the shots to do damage. When you hit her she stops running. If you try and shoot her extra times when she is not running she takes no damage.
There is no order or steps on how to defeat Ayame Blackburn but here are a few strategies:
Target Track and Trane
Smoothly train your reticle around the parking lot at a uniform speed. Ayame will be running fast and cutting angles to go from light post to light post.
Try to converge on the light post when she does by altering your tracking rate around the lot. This technique should net you two good hits.
As you train around the lot you may notice that you have better luck hitting Ayamne at a certain distance. If this is the case just decide to take your shots there but don't stop tracking around the lot.
Post Up
This tactic seems to be the most difficult.
Select a light post at a range you feel comfortable at for whatever personality you are using.
Stay aimed on that post and when Ayame runs into frame take your shot.
Overall
- Overall a great way to beat Ayame is to switch personalities mid battle. Either of the strategies I listed should work and you may even come up with your own but this battle has a tendency to drag on. The best way to stay sharp and not get bored is to break the monotony. Get two hits with 3 different personalities and that will kill Ayame!

- Kaede Smith
- Con Smith
- Remember she's shooting back at you so you're on the clock. You have to kill her before she kills you. This is yet another reason to mix it up and use multiple personalities for this boss battle.
- Now that this battle is complete we can continue on. We will have to face Ayame once more but not before we explore the Blackburn Residence.
- Head to Harmon's Room and save your game.
Blackburn Residence

- Going the through the Blackburn Residence requires you to solve 1 puzzle, collect 1 power ring and collect 2 Soul Shells.
- Enter Blackburn residence.
- Head North to the house and you change to Dan automatically.
- Two Bombheads come at you from around the corner. Take them out but remember to keep your distance on this level.
- Go West/North to Harmon's room and Save.
- Change to Dan Smith.
- Exit Harmon's room and go West to the Garden.
- Head West South West and there are 1 Bombhead and 2 Camelia Smiles. Take them out.
- A Bombhead comes up from behind, take it out.
- Walk past Iwazura, North to the hanging ghost.
- A Bombhead walks up from behind, take it out then continue forward, a bit, to get a good shot at the statue.
- Aim for the red heart on the statue.
- Charge Dan's gun 3 times and fire a flash shot at the red heart.
- When the statue explodes, you get a Soul Shell.
- Once inside, go East, then North and you encounter a Mithril Smile.
- Proceed South into the bathroom and collect the Carrier Pigeon.
- Then enter Harmon's room. Level up and wake Coyote.
- Exit Harmon's Room and head North. A Mithril Smile comes around the corner, take it out.
- Continue until you reach the cracked wall.
- Change to Mask De Smith and blast the cracked wall.
- This reveals a new path with a Mother Smile laying eggs. Take it out.
- Behind you are two more Mithril Smiles, take them out.
- Continue to the Fireplace.
- Equip the Water ring and walk into the fireplace.
- You collect a Soul Shell.
- Use Coyote's ability and jump into the fireplace where you meet Travis. You don't have to talk to him if you don't want to.
- Exit the fireplace, Kill another Mother Smile.
- Continue through the passage.
- You are introduced to Protector ZZ Smiles which require a charge shot from Mask De Smith to destroy.
- There is also a Camelia Smile standing in the distance.
- Run to the Pool.
- Unlock the door with Coyote and enter the house. It is full of Mithril Smiles.
- Go East, change to Kevin. You encounter motion detectors so use Kevin's ability to turn invisible and walk past.
- Enter Garage.
- Once inside, shoot a blade at the spark on the security panel.
- Then run past the cars.
- TIP: Make a note of the position of the cars on picture.
- Proceed to the Control Panel. It takes three moves to get the combination correct: Down, Up, Left.
- After this you talk to Susie and get the Power ring.
- Exit the Garage and head South down the road.
- Head down the road until you reach the Water Tank.
- Equip the Fire ring and get an Odd Engraving.
- Turn around and there is a Micro Smile.
- Now back track back to the house and out through the pool and back to the passage.
- Pass the pool and up ahead you see the yellow motion detectors.
- Turn invisible to bypass security and continue forward.
- Change to Mask De Smith to destroy the Protector ZZ Smiles.
- Change back to Kevin or someone you're comfortable with and press on.
- Before you reach the second house you are confronted by another Protector ZZ and 2 more Smiles.
- Change to Mask, charge a Flash shot(2x) and hit them with that, then follow with a Shock Shell(1x). This should destroy them but if they are too close you just have to eat it.
- Enter Harmon's room and change to Con Smith.
- Exit Harmon's room and head to the Bedroom.
- Go to the clock and equip the Time ring.
- Clock drops a Soul Shell. Collect it and head North.
- Enter the next Bedroom and walk to the security system. Turn it off.
- Exit and head North West to the next bedroom. There is a Micro Smile. Take it out.
- Proceed to the Child Entrance and Con slips through.

- Get an Odd Engraving then go talk to Ulmeyda.
- Take the hallway West to Travis if you like.
- Enter the Large Hall.
Boss Battle: Ayame Blackburn II
Don't lose it! I know, the last battle was murder but this one is 'too easy.' Since the room is a lot smaller you don't have as far to chase her around.
She only appears in the light as before.
When the shades go up she is standing in the light shooting at you. Usually it's opposite the side she was on previously.

Like the targets previous to this one, Alter Ego begins at Garcian's house so proceed to Harmon's Room and check the TV. There is an interesting program on this time. After the cutscene with Garcian and Mills we can begin Assignment: 38. Kill the comic artist, Trevor Pearlharbor, in secrecy.

TIP: Speak to Iwazura each time you see him on this job.
Begin as Garcian.
You must talk to Iwazura.
Proceed down the alley and you are changed to Dan.
Proceed East down the Alley. A Smile comes up from behind.
Take out the Smile and proceed North where you face a Mithral Smile.
Proceed to Harmon's room and save. Change to Mask and use your ability to lift the barrels.
You must talk to Iwazura and collect the color sample.
Change to Con Smith and head South.
Go West to find Iwazura and talk to him. Collect color sample.
Turn and go East then go North to the Alley behind the red double doors.

Wandering Streets
- For the wandering streets you must use Con Smith's acute sense of hearing to follow the soundwaves/sound of a song to the exit. But you should reach your goal by proceeding North in a westerly fashion...
- You see the first soundwaves emitting. Follow them North.
- At the small alleys that cut across you can proceed West, stop inside and pick up the sound.
- Exit the other side and continue North until you approach a set of Red alley double doors.
- Go through the doors and you are introduced to the Roller Smile.
- Switch to Kaede Smith to break through the barrier.
- A roller Smile is rolling up behind you.
- Talk to Travis if you like.
- Proceed West and go towards the Red Mansion door.
- Talk to Iwazura and collect the color sample.
- Proceed South down the alley to Harmon's Room. Change to Coyote.
- Exit and talk to Iwazura.
- Approach the jumping space under the bridge/tunnel.
- Use Coyote's ability to jump up and talk to Travis.
- Kill the Divers Smiles that approach and walk ahead to Iwazura.
- Collect the color sample from Iwazura and proceed to the corridor.
- Go downstairs to the lamp.
- Equip the Fire Ring to light the lamp.
- Go South to trigger a cutscene that lights the hall.
- Continue South to the door.
- There is a large Multi Egg Layer. Use Dan Smith to take it out.
- Proceed North East to Harmon's Room and Save.
- Exit Harmon's and head South to the Church.
- When you enter the church 4 Divers Smiles drop in. Take them out.
- Head West to Harmon's room, level up and save.
- Go East to the corridor.
- Continue South to the Sanctuary.
- There is another Multi Egg Layer. Take it out with Dan. Remember to charge 3 times for the red dot.
- Continue South to the corridor.
- Go West to Harmon's room.
- Exit and talk to Travis.
- Take the Grand staircase.
- There is a Spiral Smiles waiting outside.
- Head to the alley and go East.
- You reach Traces of Destruction.
- Equip the Time ring and you get an Odd Engraving.
- Talk to Curtis Blackburn.
- Continue North to Iwazura.
- Collect the color sample from Iwazura and continue West.
- Take the alley to the terrace and you find Harmon's room.
- Exit Harmon's room and go West past the gate to the Windmill farm.
- Equip the Wind ring and start the windmills.
- This opens the that gate you passed up before.
- Turn and return to it.
- Enter the gate and enter Trevor's house.
- Go North North West light another lamp.
- Enter the doors.
- Look at the painting of Iwazura. Creepy?
- Change to Mask De Smith and blast the cracked wall.
- Talk to Iwazura and collect a color sample.
- Exit and enter Trevor's house.
- Change to Kaede and kill the Smiles.
- Switch to Dan and aim at the monster's red dot. Hit it with a 3x charge shot to destroy it.
- When it is dead you get a cutscene.
- Next thing you know, you're in Garcian's Trailer house.
- Go to Harmon's room and save.
- Exit Harmon's room and go outside.
- You enter into the battle with the Handsome Men.
Boss Battle: Handsome Men: Punishing Rangers
This battle is mostly pre-scripted. Which means that you really don't have to do anything in the first few battles. Wait until it's time for Mask De Smith to fight.
Mask loses and transform into something new.
Then you are be matched up against Handsome Purple.
Charge a shot 5 times until the reticle is golden and fire it at Handsome Purple. Just don't miss.
You have defeated Handsome Purple. Now Mask never has to reload.
Alter Ego is complete.

Part I: Union Hotel
- After the obligatory cutscene you begin in Garcian's Trailerhouse.
- Enter Harmon's room. You find that Samantha is dead... with her pants unbuttoned.
- Exit Harmon's room and head to the Forbidden Room. Enter.
- Entering the Forbidden Room triggers a cutscene.
- Exit the Forbidden room and go outside. This triggers your meeting with Christopher Mills. Now you have your next job. Kenjiro's Meeting.
- You must begin this level as Garcian so gear up and get your mind right. There is a cutscene then the action begins. The levels in the Union Hotel are pretty hairy, so be ready for some varied combat. You have to switch between personalities to deal with all the threats.
Level 1
From the lobby proceed North. There is a Mother Smile laying eggs ahead.
Get into the hallway as quick as possible and take your aim from there. You need quick shooting here but don't be in a rush.
Once you kill the Mother Smile, push past the elevator to Harmon's room to save. You notice that the Steward has taken over Samanatha's duties.
Change to Kaede and exit Harmon's room.
There is a Camelia Smile when you exit. Take it out.
Head East towards the hallway to the Reception area.
Walk to the blood stain and use Kaede's ability. Make sure you have thin blood or you have to hunt down blood on the upper levels.
Leave reception and go West North West to the elevator and select: 2.
Change to Dan.
Level 2
Head East out of the elevator. There is a Smile coming from around the corner. Take it out.
Ahead and to the North in the hallway is a Multi-Egg Layer Smile.
Use a 3x charge for the red dot.
You can hit the yellow dots with a few regular shots from Dan's gun or charge shots if you like.
Pass Iwazura and proceed North. A Smile is waiting around the corner.
Proceed to Room 203 and get a Soul Shell.
When you exit there are 4 Smiles coming at you. Take them out.
Go East down the hallway to Harmon's Room but you can't save here.
Proceed back to the elevator and select: 3.
Level 3
Proceed East and confront 1 Smile and 2 Hanging Smiles followed by 2 Phantom Smiles.
Continue and there is 1 Hanging Smile and 1 more Phantom Smile.
Go South to Harmon's room and change to Kevin.
Take the hallway North to Room 306.
Go to the bathtub, target the spark on the electrical cord and throw a blade at it.
When you sever the cord the bathtub is safe. Get Soul Shell.
Continue to the Bedroom and talk to Iwazura if you like.
Proceed North to the elevator. You face 2 Hanging Smiles and 3 Phantom Smiles.
Once inside the elevator choose 4.
Level 4
Change to Mask De Smith.
Proceed East and there is an open hall to the North.
Stop in this intersection and aim high for a Micro Smile.
Continue around the corner for a flying Smile. You need Mask to blast it.
Continue to room 404.
Go to the Bathroom, talk to Iwazura if you like.
Go into the room and blast the cracked cabinet.
Collect a Soul Shell.
Change to a more comfortable personality and exit the room.
There are 3 Poison Smiles right outside. Take them out.
Head to Harmon's room to change personalities if you like.
TIP: If you die in the hotel you want to be able to fetch Garcian from the same floor.
Exit Harmon's room and continue to room 406.
There are 2 Poison Smiles. One attacks from in front, the other from behind.
In room 406 speak to Handsome Black.
When you're done talking to Handsome Black, there is a Flying Smile waiting for you on the way out.
Head to the elevator and select 5.
Level 5
Select Mask De Smith.
When you exit the elevator you face 2 Protector ZZ's North in the hallway.
Proceed to room 502.
Talk to Mills.
Go to the bedroom.
Equip the Fire ring and walk to the candles.
Collect a Soul Shell.
Exit the room and head to the elevator.
Select level 6.
Level 6
Head East to Harmon's room.
There are multiple Lazer Smiles and Bombheads coming at you before you get there.
Defeat enough threats to reach Harmon's room and you are able to save.
When you come out of Harmon's room there is a Lazer Smile behind you and a Bombhead in front of you.
Talk to Iwazura if you want.
Proceed North, there is a Lazer at the end of the Hall, kill it.
Change to Dan Smith.
Enter room 601.
Talk to Travis.
Get a Soul Shell.
Go to the elevator, there is a Lazer Smile and a Bombhead waiting in the main hallway.
Enter the elevator and select: 7.
Level 7
Exit the elevator and go to Harmon's Room. Save and level up. Change to Kaede Smith.
When you exit look up and kill the Micro Smile flying in the distance.
Continue East and talk to Iwazura if you like.
Go past the Suite to the Flowers.
Equip the Wind ring and you collect a Soul Shell.
Go back and enter the Suite.
Go to the Gatekeeper and pay your Shells.
Take the hallway to the colosseum and meet the ghost of Bloodysunday.
Continue on to Vinculum Gate.
You are introduced to the Timer Smile. '
TIP: To kill the Timer Smile you must destroy all of the red dots on its body before it gets too close. The order in which you do this is ultimately up to you. Leave yourself and easy shot in the end because he speeds up.
Proceed down the hallway.
Go to the room and you change to Garcian Smith.
Part II: Coburn Elementary School
- You begin at Garcian's house after the cutscene.
- Go to Harmon's room and save.
- Go outside to trigger the cutscene for your next job.
- You can begin by speaking to Travis if you like.
- Enter the Main School Gate and you are changed to Kaede Smith.
- Talk to Iwazura if you like.
- Take the hallway to the corridor.
- A Mithral Smile attacks. Take it out.
- Talk to Iwazura if you like.
- Proceed to the Ladies room and walk to the stall.
- Flush the toilet and get a carrier pigeon. You get a code and a cassette tape. Make note of the code: 55549.
- Receive cassette tape.
- Head West to the classroom. There are 2 Mithril Smiles.
- Receive a cassette tape in the classroom.
- Exit and face 2 Mithril Smiles.
- Take the hallway and face Flying Smile.
- Enter the next classroom. There is a Smile waiting inside.
- Receive a cassette tape.
- When you exit there is a Flying Smile outside.
- Take the hall South, face another Flying Smile.
- Enter the next classroom and you encounter 2 Mithril Smiles.
- Get the cassette and exit the classroom.
- Make your way to Harmon's room and save.
- Exit and take the hallway East.
- Go to the classroom at the end of the West hall.
- Inside there is graffiti written on the board. Make a note of it.
- Get the cassette and exit.
- Make sure to check the classroom signs. Make your way to L3D.
- Inside L3D is a cassette.
- Now exit the room and start looking for locker 666.
- When you find locker 666 change to Mask De Smith and blast the door.
- You receive a Soul Shell and cassette tape.
- Next shoot locker 656 and you find Travis.
- Talk to Travis then go back to locker 666.
- Shoot the locker again then change to Kevin Smith.
- The top of the locker door is sparkling.
- Hit the sparkle with one of Kevin's blades.
- Another door will open with a sparkle. Hit that sparkle.
- Keep hitting the sparkles on the door until the new Mask is revealed.
- Change to Mask De Smith to collect the Mask.
- Change back to Kevin and turn around to hit more locker doors. On the second door you hit opens the 2nd floor lock.
- Take the hallway West to the corridor.
- Take the hallway North to Travis and speak with him if you like.
- Go upstairs to the cafeteria.
- There is a Multi Egg Layer. Take it out.
- Go through the cafeteria East to the corridor.
- Go North to Harmon's room.
- After you exit Harmon's room head North to the library.
- After the Library you go to the Gatekeeper.
- Pay the Gatekeeper your shells and move on.
- Enter the colosseum and you meet the ghost of Bloodysunday.
- Proceed to the Vinculum gate.
- You are introduced to the Galactic Tomohawk Smile.
- TIP: You have to shoot the missiles to stop them from hitting you. Hit it with a Smash shot from Dan.
- Collect the cassette and exit through the corridor.
- Enter Harmon's room.
- After you leave Harmon's room go East to the Principals office.
- You change to Garcian.
- Go to the Chairman's room.
- There is a trophy sparkling. Shoot the sparkle to open the Emergency staircase.
- Talk to Iwazura if you like.
- Make your way to the main gate and enter.
- Head towards the entry way. You see Keane on the stairs. Talk to him.
- Walk past Keane to the Data room. Go to the control panel.
- On the control panel enter: 3, 5, 7, 6.
- Talk to Travis.
- Get cassette player. You can now listen to the cassettes and get all the information you need to solve the remaining puzzles in Killer 7.
- Go back out of the Main gate.
- Go up the Emergency staircase.
- Go back into the Principal's office.
- Go back to the Chairman's office and input the two codes.
- Code 1= 55549
- Code 2=72712
- The door opens but only Garcian can pass the fingerprint ID.
- When Garcian get's through the door, go to the safe.
- To open the safe just spin it right until you hear the guitar strings.
- Now spin it back the other way until you hear the guitar strings.
- You get an Odd Engraving.
- Go back to the Data Room.
- Go to the Terminal and place your engraving using Garcian.
- The Vision Ring howls.
- You are be prompted to enter a bunch of information. The information is on the tapes. Here are the answers:

- The gym opens.
- Go to Harmon's room and change to Con Smith.

Boss Battle: Greg Nightmare
The fatman is hanging from a rope. You need to shoot his left shoulder to make him start swinging.
When you get him swinging the object is to keep him going higher and higher, not letting him swing back down.
TIP: This is like shooting a can in the air and keeping it airborne.
Once you juggle him high enough his pants fly off.
His huge pulsing Heaven Smile Junk is glowing red.
Keep shooting it until it explodes. Use Kaede and scope in.
Greg drops his golden gun.
The only one who can handle the gun is Garcian.
All the other personalities are killed here.
When Garcian is the only one left, shoot what's left of Greg Nightmare.
When he is destroyed, exit through the hallway.
You find yourself at Garcian's house once more.
Enter Harmon's room and save.
Exit Harmon's room and go outside.
Your next assignment sends you back to the Union Hotel to find out the truth behind the Killer 7.

Proceed to reception, walk to the bloodstain.
Go to the elevator, press: 2.
Go to room 203, walk to the bloodstain.

Lion

- Lion begins with a cutscene, as we've come to expect. After that you receive your final job. Assignment 43: Showdown at Battleship Island. You are Garcian Smith and you don't have the ability to see the Heaven Smiles. You are able to make them out but not well enough to hit too many. The Heaven's Smiles continue to respawn so you need to shoot what you can and continue running.
- Run to the deserted building.
- Enter the courtyard and keep running to the Colosseum.
- Take the stairs until you meet a man sitting in front of the door. Choose to kill him or let him live. I let him live.
- He ushers you in the room, past Harmon's corpse, and to the TV.
- After the TV take the hallway.
- You end up in taking the basement out of Garcian's trailer house.
- Once in the basement, chase Iwazura until he stops and faces you.
- Shoot him 4 times in the chest.
- This triggers the final cutscene.
- Next you find yourself as old Harmon Smith facing Kun Lan and his shining hand. Shoot his hand as you did earlier in the game.
- The End?

Replay the game on Killer 8 on Bloodbath. You won't be able to see weak spots.
Smile explosions take 5 times more damage.
But you are able to play with a young, pedestrian Harmon Smith carrying a Tommy Gun.
