Kids Choice Winners

The Kids' Choice Winners were announced on March 28, 2009 on Nickelodeon. • Nickelodeon's "Big Green Help" is a global campaign designed to "empower kids to take action on the environment and connect them to energy saving and earth-friendly activities in their everyday lives." The "Big Green Help" encourages kids to practice green-living as a lifestyle.

• Cameron Diaz presented Academy Award-nominee Leonardo DiCaprio with the first-ever "Big Green Help Award" during the 2009 Kid's Choice Awards ceremony. DiCaprio is on the board of trustees of the Natural Resources Defense Council and Global Green USA and was the global chairman of Earth Day 2000. In 1998, he founded the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to help increase awareness of environmental issues.
