Kid Icarus originated on the NES as a platformer game. The titular character also made an appearance as Pit, a playable character, in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Leaked concept art for Kid Icarus for the WiiQJ.net: Wii Kid Icarus concept art by Factor 5 (May 9, 2008) surfaced in May 2008. The game was rumored to be making an appearance during E3File Front: Kid Icarus...confirmed for E3 (June 26, 2008), however the game was not mentioned during the Nintendo keynote address. There has been no confirmation from Nintendo or Factor 5 regarding the development of this game.
