This 6-2, 195-pound guard is the classic embodiment of a journeyman player. Prior to joining the Oklahoma Thunder on August 1st, 2009, Ollie signed and-or suited up for no less 13 different NBA teams. Beginning with his signing as a free agent with the Golden State Warriors on October 4th, 1995, the teams Ollie has been professionally associated with prior to the Thunder are, in chronological oder: Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle Supersonics (the team that became the Oklahoma Thunder in 2008) and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In some cases, Ollie was re-signed at a later date by a team he had already previously been a part of, such as the Mavericks and Magic.http://www.nba.com/thunder/photos/media_guide_2009-10.pdf<ref>
Kevin Ollie 2009-10 Season
The individual stats for Ollie fell substantially in 2009-2010, a reflection of the fact that he was relegated to the bench and saw his minutes-per-game cut from a previous-team, 2008-2009 average of 17 to just over ten. (Over the course of his career, Ollie has averaged 15.8 minutes per game.)
For the 2009-2010 season, Ollie averaged 1.8 points per game, one rebound and 0.8 assists. Contrast that with his career average of 3.8 points and 2.8 assists. Overall, Ollie played in just 24 games this season for the Thunder, but as one of the few veteran players over 30 on the team, his presence could prove invaluable off the bench during the Thunder's first ever NBA playoff run.http://www.nba.com/playerfile/kevin_ollie/career_stats.html<ref>
Kevin Ollie 2008-09 Season
As a 2008-2009 season member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Ollie played in 50 games, 21 of those as a starter. His season field goal percentage was just over 40% (150 attempts, 61 made) while his season free throw average was 83.3% (96 attempts, 80 made). Ollie is certainly not a three-point shooter; in 2008-2009, he made just one unsuccessful three-point attempt, bring his career total in that department to 29 attemps (9 made). http://www.nba.com/playerfile/kevin_ollie/career_stats.html<ref>
