College to the Pros
During his college career, Kevin Love was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and Player of the Year for the 2007-2008 season. He was also named to the All-Pac-10 team and the All-Pac-10 freshman team. Love averaged 17.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game during his only year with UCLA.NBA.com: Kevin LoveLove was selected fifth overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. Immediately after the draft, Love was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a deal that sent third overall pick O.J.
