Although the agreement put an end to violence that claimed between 1000-1500 lives, critics of the new Coalition Cabinet claim that it is too large and expensive to efficiently serve the public interest. Each of the 40 cabinet members is paid a salary of $16,000 a month, given two cars and assigned 5 security officers.Egypt.com: Odinga sworn in as Kenyan premier (April 17, 2008) -
