Iwebema had a benign tumor removed from his chest on May 18, 2009. The tumor, which was the size of a baseball, was removed using a non-evasive laparoscopic procedure. College Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Iwebema had a standout college football career with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA. After redshirting in 2003, he played all but five games over the next four seasons with the Hawkeyes. Professional Football Career
