Kenneth Feinberg is an attorney that was appointed as the Special Master of the U.S. Government's September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. Before the appointment Feinberg worked as legal counsel to Senator Ted Kennedy. He has also served as chief administrator to the Hokie Spirit Fund, a Virginia Tech Foundation established after the April 2007 shootings on the Virginia Tech Campus.
On June 10, 2009, the Obama administration appointed Feinberg as the nation's compensation overseer, or "pay czar." Feinberg will set the salaries and bonuses of the 175 top executives who work for the companies that have taken federal bailout money.http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/11/business/11pay.html?ref=politics
