Visa Controversy
Kendra Zanotto had requested a work visa from the Chinese government in order to attend the 2008 Olympic games, where she would work as an official analyst. As a 2004 bronze medalist, Zanotto was to utilize her expertise in synchronized swimming while reporting for the Olympic News Service. While giving no official explanation, the government denied her work visa.
