Ken Shamrock

Ken Shamrock is an American mixed martial arts wrestler. He is best known for his wrestling achievements in the WWF and the UFC.

MMA

Shamrock joined the UFC in 1993. Shortly after that, he formed the Lion's Den to train MMA fighters. At UFC 5 in 1995, Shamrock fought Royce Gracie in a rematch from their first fight. The two fought until the expiration of the time limit and the match was declared a draw. Shamrock next defeated Dan Severn for the Superfight belt and successfully defended his title. Shamrock was released from his UFC contract in June 2007, but claims to currently be in the best shape he has been in for seven years.

Wrestling

Shamrock made his WWF debut in 1997. In March of that year, he refereed a match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Shamrock would go on to feud with The Hart Foundation and Shawn Michaels before feuding with The Rock over the Intercontinental Championship. He held the IC title and had many more feuds with other big name wrestlers.
