Ken Hitchcock is a former professional hockey coach. Most recently he was the head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets. He won the 1999 Stanley Cup title as coach of the Dallas Stars and led them to consecutive conference championships. On February 3, 2010, he was fired by the Blue Jackets one season after leading them to their first playoff appearance in franchise history. He also had a brief stint as the head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Hitchcock was head coach of the Dallas Stars from 1995 to 2001.
