Five time Emmy Award winning actor Kelsey Grammer played the role of "Dr. Frasier Crane" for 20 years. The character of psychiatrist Dr. Crane originated on the NBC sitcom Cheers in 1982. In 2007 he picked up a new role on the FOX show Back to You co-starring Patricia Heaton, formerly of Everybody Loves Raymond.
