Kellie Pickler is a pop country singer-songwriter from North Carolina. She appeared on season five of American Idol and finished in sixth place. In 2006, Pickler's debut album "Small Town Girl" was released by BNA Records. The album was successful, debuting at number nine on the Billboard top 10 chart. It sold over 753,000 copies in the first week.
On April 8, 2009, Pickler performed her single "Best Days of Your Life" on the stage that made her popular, American Idol. Pickler received a standing ovation from Paula Abdul and was confused about which way to exit the stage.
