  • Controversial Injury

    Winslow was hospitalized on October 9, 2008, with a staph infection and did not play in the following game. Winslow criticized the Browns for the way they handled his hospitalization and illness, citing possible health factors in the locker room.   • Football Career

    Following a two-year college football career with the Miami Hurricanes, Winslow was selected sixth overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. He made his NFL debut that same year, playing in two games and recording five receptions for a total of 50 yards. Winslow was sidelined for the entire 2005 season after he was injured in a motorcycle accident. He returned to the Browns in 2006 to play in all 16 games and scored three touchdowns. Winslow turned in his best season statistically in 2007, totaling 1,106 yards and five touchdowns.
