Keith Urban

Grammy award winning Keith Urban is an country music singer-songwriter. Before moving to the United States in 1992, Urban charted four singles in Australia. In 2002, he released his second album Golden Rod. The album contained his breakthrough hit "Somebody Like You" which went number one on the country charts. The album also contained the song "You'll Think of Me" which earned Urban a Grammy.

Keith Urban is nominated for two Academy of Country Music Awards this year. He is nominated for Entertainer of the Year along with Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and the Zac Brown Band Fans can vote for who they belive deserves the title of Entertainer of the Year at www.voteACM.com.

On June 9, 2010 Keith Urban won the CMT Music Awards Male Video of the Year award for the song "'Til Summer Comes Around"

Keith Urban won the AMA award for Country Male Artist on November 22, 2009.

Urban married actress Nicole Kidman in 2006. Four months later he checked into the Betty Ford Center to seek treatment for cocaine addiction.
