Keith Olbermann SNL

It had been rumored that pundit Keith Olbermann would appear on the November 1, 2008, episode of Saturday Night Live in a sketch mocking him and his MSNBC show, Countdown. Host Ben Affleck did appear in a sketch as the news anchor, but Olbermann did not show up. Republican presidential contender John McCain appeared in the episode's opening sketch, alongside Tina Fey as his running mate, Sarah Palin.
