  • KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco group that became popular in the 1970s with funky numbers such as "Get Down Tonight" and "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty". Not one to stop the dance, singer Harry Wayne Casey still continues to take the show on the road.

    On April 22, 2009, Casey appeared on American Idol and sang his hit single "Get Down Tonight" to help celebrate disco week.
